Hi man! Have exactly the same problem, looking to buy now the face lift ask unit now but came across 2 different part number which is 9 110 850 and 6 970 260. Is there any important difference on them? Both are facelift. My beauty is 2004..... Some part sellers inform me that it won't work as non facelift to facelift and other way around too, apparently. I have a problem with the radio because i can't hear it (no audio). So if i put a CD i can hear it, but if i want to listen to the radio i cannot hear it because of the audio.
Jaime I have a question maybe you can give me an idea. I have a 2006 bmw 750li my break lights won't turn off when the vehicle is on. I don't have to push the break to start the car I just push the start button it saids GEAR ENGAGED WITH OUT BREAK POSS I changed the brake switch and nothing still the same hopefully you might have an idea
Jaime Garcia I have a 04 745li I bought a 2008 ask and monitor and connected the aux cords,months later the module went out, no audio or mmi use. Do you think it was the switch of the mMI screen?

Question ❓ so before u swapped the ask unit was the CD and CD changer showing up greyed out while the other options like radio stayed white?
Is this plug and play or do you need to program it?
I have e65 it's such a good car but I feel all the issues with zgm module, oil leaks, Radio cd issue, phone issue.

Check fuse radio 2,65 30 ampere
Repair your old ask unit. Tda8563 chips two piece solder it and all good

Hi. Before you change the Cd changer, you can select it from screen? I got CD charger, but I can't get select it...
I did everything u said but no radio functionality or parking sensors
