If you are listening to this, wondering if there is a Jesus- He is real. He's complete, tender love and He wants to know you. Look for Him and you'll easily find Him
My dad was an Episcopalien minister in South Dakota, U.S. This hymn brings back such deep and moving emotions. It's partly because the sacred music itself is so incredible, so inspirational. This is like a direct connection to Lord Jesus, and the demons flee when they hear it. This eliminates all murky and troubling thoughts. What a joy to hear and to sing.
Isn’t the Lord good to give us this way to see all our spiritual siblings around the world also looking for a sing with which to praise his holy Name! 😁
We would have been singing this wonderful hymn this Palm Sunday as our entrance hymn at St Marys Church in the in the parish of Handsworth Birmingham in the U.K. but alas we are all in isolation. God Bless everyone. Take care.
We would, as well, have been singing this beautiful hymn as we processed into the church with Palms waving here in Danvers, MA, USA. We will be singing it again next year with the Grace of God.
All glory, laud, and honor To thee, Redeemer, King To whom the lips of children Made sweet hosannas ring Thou art the King of Israel Thou David's royal Son Who in the Lord's name comest The King and Blessed One The company of angels Are praising Thee on high And mortal men and all things Created make reply The people of the Hebrews With palms before Thee went Our praise and love and anthems Before Thee we present To Thee, before Thy passion They sang their hymns of praise To Thee, now high exalted Our melody we raise Thou didst accept their praises Accept the love we bring Who in all good delightest Thou good and gracious King
Another Palm Sunday classic! Often sung as a processional with laying and/or carrying of palms, or as the choir recessional following a Palm Sunday service. Praise be to God and His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ.
As a child, ever since I can recall, this GLORIOUS HYMN has always been sung, as we go around our Saint Paul's Church, Poona, India; with PALM CROSSES in our hands on PALM SUNDAY. Unfortunately, this PALM SUNDAY we will not be able to be in Church as all Services are suspended, but then our Service and the Sermon will be telecast live. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF US AND HUMANITY AS A WHOLE, AS ALSO HIS CREATION ..... EARTH !!
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (March 24, Palm Sunday/Sunday of the Passion), I played this as the Opening Hymn. It is #344 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.
Who is listening Dec 2021 An Angel was singing this hymn with me last night I had totally forgotten this hymn the last time I Sang it was when I was at school 30yrs ago in school competitions in Africa wondering what the Lord was communicating
Manifest Your Glory in and all through every person in our nation, Jesus, for reverential repentance and awakening to our desperate need for God’s forgiveness and mercy!
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (March 25, Palm Sunday), I played this as the Opening Hymn. It is #344 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. It is also a good hymn if your Scripture for the Day is 2 Chronicles 7:12-22. Another good hymn for this Scripture is O Sacred Head, Now Wounded.
my favorite hymn from my favorite liturgical calendar date. my Anglican roots smile with this beautiful rendition that brings sweet memories of my youth.
A most beautiful and moving hymn, especially when we picture what the first Palm Sunday (assuming it was a Sunday - I'll research that sometime) must have been like, with a large and jubilant crowd welcoming Jesus, as the Messiah, into Jerusalem. Powerful imagery!
It's me, again. And this is to all denominations: If Psalm 96:1-6, 10-13 is your Scripture of the Day, this is a good hymn to compliment it. Also, Psalm 96 can also be read, recited, or sung on Christmas Eve, which we just celebrated.
Happy palm Sunday April 5, 2020 Thank you Lord our Savoir come to save us, to heal us in this bad situation of Corona virus God our Creator send your Holy fire from heaven burning all the Corona Virus of the earth in the Name of Jesus Christ.

"Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! Hosanna! Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!Blessed is the King Who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! Hosanna! Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!" (From Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)
Blessed is our lord and king, who's grace and love is the everlasting inspiration of all mankind. Praise him with anthems and hymns for he is the redeemer and savior. Praise be to the father, for he had sent his only begotten son to free mankind from the grip of sin and guide us on the path to everlasting life. Praise be to the Holy Spirit for instilling into all the faithful the inner strength to bear our own crosses to Calvary where we die with our lord to let go of our self conceit and self doubts and to resurrect with him into a new life of salvation. Praise God, the three in one, the blessed deity!
I went to a palm sunday at my local Anglican and heard this. Ask your minister why he has not opened the church. it is not against the law and all the people over 50 can now have been vaccinated.
Year after year passes, Palm Sunday is gradually forgotten, but the Ancient of Days will never change, and YOU will stand before Him to give account as to why you made the precious gift of life that YOU were given into a pile of dung within a city of dung in a dunghill country. Repent! Before you face Him to whom you will give account. John 3:16.
I also was wondering if it would be possible to use for worship sundae, since we are not able to worship in our churches. It seems like its not Palm Sunday without the singing of All Glory Laud and Honor.
I'd send a private message, but I'm not sure how to do that, so I'm having to use the public comments. I'm looking for permission to use your video in the broadcast of our worship service on Sunday. What are the sources for the audio and images so I can contact the copyright owners? Also, what copyright permission notice may I use for your work on this?
That is interesting....But I guess it fits, because this song is comfortable with their beliefs...This song doesn't mention the true deity of Jesus that they reject. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Although Mormons profess to be Christians and say they believe the Word of God, there are many of their beliefs that contradict Christianity. In fact, Mormonism can be referred to as a cult, which can be defined as “a religious group that denies one or more of the fundamentals of biblical truth.” Mormons say they are Christians, but because they reject foundational truths from the God’s Word, they are not.
Adding to the Scriptures is forbidden! Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! One of the many areas in which Mormons fall short of saving faith is their belief that God is merely an exalted man who earned his position by good works (Mormon Doctrine, p. 321; Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345). This directly contradicts the Bible, which states that God has existed in His position as God of the universe from eternity past (Revelation 1:8; 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:15-16; Psalm 102:24-27). God was never a man (Numbers 23:19; 1 Samuel 15:29; Hosea 11:9) and is the holy and powerful Creator of all things (Genesis 1; Psalm 24:1; Isaiah 37:16). Mormons also believe that they themselves can attain the status of gods in the afterlife through their works here on earth (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345-354). However, no man can ever become like God (1 Samuel 2:2; Isaiah 43:10-11; 44:6; 45:21-22), despite what the serpent told Eve in the garden (Genesis 3:5). Mormons also believe that Jesus was a god, but not God Himself (Mormon Doctrine, p. 547; Articles of Faith, p. 35; Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 372). It is essential to Christian faith that Jesus is one with God and that He is God’s only begotten Son who became flesh (John 1:1, 14; John 3:16). Only Jesus’ oneness with God would have allowed Him to live a sinless, blameless life (Hebrews 7:26). And only Jesus Christ was able to pay the price for our sins by His death on the cross (Romans 4:25; Acts 4:12). Those who follow the Mormon faith also believe that they can attain heaven through works (Doctrine and Covenants 58:42-43; 2 Nephi 9:23-24; Alma 34:30-35; Articles of Faith, p.92). While they claim faith in Christ, they also rely on following the commandments of the Mormon Church (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, p 188; Mormon Doctrine, p. 670) and practicing good works (2 Nephi 25:23; Alma 11:37) in order to achieve salvation. The Bible is very clear on this point, stating that good works can never earn the way to heaven (Romans 11:6; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5) and that faith in Jesus Christ alone is the only way to salvation (John 10:9; 11:25; 14:6; Acts 4:12). Salvation by grace is incompatible with salvation by human works (Romans 11:6). Sadly, many in the Mormon Church are unaware of the religion’s shady past, amended scriptures, and even the full doctrine of their church. Many Mormons who have discovered these things have left the church and come to a true saving faith in Jesus Christ. As Christians, we must treat Mormons with love and understand that they are among those deceived by Satan himself (1 Peter 5:8). Satan’s goal is to distort the truth, produce false assurance of salvation, and extend a deceptive hope of godhood (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Timothy Bukowski Yes but if he was God himself he would have said "my will be done", "Don't call me great, call me great", and he would have sat on his own shoulder, and jumped into heaven and said "This is beloved me, and I am proud of myself." But he did not, and instead said his father was great, and his father's will be done, not his own. Also it mentions not adding to the words of Deuteronomy and Revelations and other books, but the Book of Mormon did not add onto the Bible, but go hand in hand with the Bible like it says in the Bible about the stick of Judah and Ephraim. Judah is the Bible and Ephraim is the Book of Mormon.
Michael Louis The LDS church believes the stick of Ephraim refers to the Book of Mormon, because the Nephites were descended from Joseph and the stick of Judah refers to the Bible. That is correct.

SkyeMcLeod Answer: Politically Correct. We sing mostly contemporary songs in my non-denominational church; however, when the pastor wants a traditional hymn, I'm instructed to put the old lyrics up on the screen. I usually consult a hymnal that hasn't been whitewashed
I am not sure what changes you are lamenting. I can only find similar lyrics in all the hymnals I own, which is quite astounding considering; this hymn was originally written in 820 A.D., translated 1000 years later, and went through 3 revisions. It is amazing there aren't more versions in circulation.

@Jefferson Matthew Yup, have been using Flixzone} for months myself :)
Sang this at Mass this morning under sunny skies, waving palms as we entered the church with the bells ringing!
This hymn should be for any day not just Palm Sunday.
Agree
I will follow Jesus Christ the rest of my life
Yes indeed! All praise to Him!

He is real, He is alive, and He is coming! Jesus is Lord and King above all Kings!
All glory, laud, and honor
To thee, Redeemer, King
To whom the lips of children
Made sweet hosannas ring
Thou art the King of Israel
Thou David's royal Son
Who in the Lord's name comest
The King and Blessed One
The company of angels
Are praising Thee on high
And mortal men and all things
Created make reply
The people of the Hebrews
With palms before Thee went
Our praise and love and anthems
Before Thee we present
To Thee, before Thy passion
They sang their hymns of praise
To Thee, now high exalted
Our melody we raise
Thou didst accept their praises
Accept the love we bring
Who in all good delightest
Thou good and gracious King
Happy Palm Sunday. This day is not complete without this song!
Totally agree! I go looking for it every year. No longer sung in churches we attend

Happy Palm Sunday!!! 2020.
This hymn will be the first one sung next Sunday (Palm Sunday) at Mass. Looking forward to hearing it sung my church choir.
Our Presbyterian Church is singing a chorale arrangement this Sunday
Blessed is our lord and king, who's grace and love is the everlasting inspiration of all mankind. Praise him with anthems and hymns for he is the redeemer and savior. I love this original version. Glorious! Why do they have to change lyrics in new hymnals smh
Is it okay to use this in a church service? Public Domain?
Will there be confession on Good Frday?
