Despite a completely different finger discipline, I'm taking up Saxophone too. "Hector the Hero" is a song that resonates with me. Again, the story is a gut punch and will provide a good mindset for the emotional volume you have mastered. It is to be played with sincerity and feeling. It will be one of the first songs I do on the Sax but, There is no way I can do it the justice you can. I haven't heard anyone play it on the Sax yet and it should be. I hear plenty of music but I feel yours.

I will say I was in a school band back in my younger days, got to hear some good music of all kinds. Wind, brass and percussion . In my opinion her rendition of this song was just.....eh. was it terrible? No. Was it outstanding? No. Several notes were either flat or sharp or jist destroyed. She can and likely will get better with more practice and experience
