I am not familiar with the material you are calling "stretch floss" used in tying the Slim Damsel Fly pattern. Is it listed by another name? If so, what could it also be called, what company makes it, and where can it be purchased? Can another similar material be substituted for it if I can't find it in my area?

Span flex, ultra flex, stretch flex, stretch floss most fly tying shops will have it. Google either of these names with fly tying behind them and you will find em👍🏻
