bypass fog machine remote

bypass fog machine remote if uve lost it or its broke or misplaced . I've lost mine I baught another 2 with receivers both lit up at temperature, but when I pressed button nothing happened so this is only way I could get it to work should be the same for all 3 button remote controls .but this is the only one I've tried it with .and all went well if anyone knows a reason why the replacements don't work please let me know as I would like to be able to get a remote that works for my machine
