Congratulations on your 400 subs Craig.. I started with my daughter and grandson a couple of years ago,I look after my ex partner who had a stroke and heart attack a few years ago and I'm a 24/7 carer for him so getting out in the fresh air and having the best time with my family is really important to me when i can.We have the OM 200x and started after watching a news report of an old man being kicked into a canal in Ellesmere port(not far from me) and he lost a sentimental item, a magnet fisher heard about it and went and found it for him so I was interested about magnet fishing since hearing that.Sorry Craig I've waffled on a bit lol.Hope your on the mend..looking forward to your next trip out

Hello mate! I started magnet fishing just over a year ago when I met Martin from Peterborough Magnet fishing and Vinnie from Drag the mag. They let me have a go with their big magnets and I've been hooked on it ever since. I've only got a g65 and haven't been finding much so if I won any of the magnets in the giveaway I'd definitely go out fishing a lot more and would certainly find more interesting finds! Well done on reaching 400, we are from Redditch in Worcestershire and got into this hobby by watching RUclips. If we win the 400x it will be used on the canals to get the windlass's but if we win the evo60 i will be straight out to a place where its needed lol. My autistic son wanted to get into and begged me after watching a gazillion videos.
So i bought some cheap ebay magnets and off we went.
Apart from a small veg knife weve had zero luck. My son is still yet to find anything other than scrap. Maybe a better magnet will help him in the wather ways of birmingham.

Hi Craig, congrats on the 400 subs, I got into magnet fishing because it’s a good way to clear my head of any worries and push all my problems to the back of my mind for the day and just come back to reality, if I win I will be upgrading my son as he is wanting to pull more and bigger out of the waters and also will help him to realise that he is helping to keep the waters clean

I got into magnet fishing after going to last years colab due to the area I live there arent many places to fish without a long travel time but if I won it I would probably tag along with NWMF when they are in runcorn next
