Well done looks a great place I toured Ireland about 3 times for a few months at a time and the Irish people are so nice and friendly on quite a few occasions invited us into their homes for a meal with them.💕👍
SERIOUSLY EPIC! The land, house and out buildings honestly look like a dream come true. Really stoked for you all. Me and the kids heading to scotland for a month, doing the North Coast 500 as well as visiting pals north. Ireland is on my to do list. We'd love to visit. Congrats to you all, the all round smiles day it all xxx
@@OffGridBruce Let me know when you're in Cork City next time if you want to meet up for a chat. What's the best way for me to share my phone number with you? Don't really want to post it here :D
hi guys. I stumbled across your channel just now. Im planning on doing exactly this, this year . I went to Ireland twice last year and have decided to move there. Driving over with my motorhome again in the next month or so to look at properties similar to yours - in the West Cork area. Can I ask you how found your spot - did you go down the Daft.ie route or was it through word of mouth and help from locals? Thanks Phil.
West cork is absolutely beautiful. Yes we found ours on Daft.ie That being said local knowledge is great in really rural areas as there are plenty of gems that aren’t listed on Daft.ie
The English always seem to be running away from their country to find other places to live in. Scotland is full of you guys too! Cheaper housing and land I'm guessin.
England is to busy for us and lacks the strong sense of community we have here in ireland. Annie is Irish though and it’s thanks to her that I had an opportunity to fall in love with this place. This place actually fell through at the last minute but we found a great spot to settle into now about half hour from this one.
@@OffGridBruce I always think Ireland is a great spot for English to live, your near home and all the benefits of England minus some of the drawbacks. Now that we don't want to kill the English that helps too!!
welcome to Ireland lads...wishing you all the best in your new home.
Thanks 🙏 feeling like home already

Hi Martin. This place fell through at the last minute but we got it initially for €75k we found another place though not too far away
Would love to get some advice, how is it all going?
Going great but this place fell through. We now live about 30mins from here
You guys make me smile from ear to ear. I’m so blinking CHUFFED for you 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈✨💫✨💫✨💫❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Sophie fun times ahead
Anyone know of any groups or ways to contact off grid/self sustaining communities in Ireland?
I don’t. Maybe join some off grid ireland groups on Facebook
why Ireland you need to go somewhere hot use solar Ireland gone to the dogs
God Ireland has been too hot this last week. We prefer the nature/woodland and temperate climate. Also Annie’s family live here
