No need for scoring 75% in 12th grade. My 12th grade %age was just above 60 and I had given CRB exam in mechanical for the post of scientist/engineer.

There is an interesting way I found the answer (I did not use the internet for the answer, honestly). If you are smart enough to recognize that, the spacesuit, worn by Rakesh Sharma at 11:07 kind of looks like the spacesuit used by roscosmos to send their astronauts. You can search the internet for some reference images of Roscosmos' spacesuits and match those with the spacesuit worn by our Indian hero.
I also guess by it but in the video he gave the hint that he is a cosmonaut and Russia is the only country that uses cosmonaut instead of astronaut

Please don't give wrong information. For gettting into iist it is not compulsory to get rank under 1k in jee advanced and also after joining iist we don't require to give any exam we just need to maintain our cgpa more than 7.5 and clear interview.

Many information about IIST are wrong. Last cut off to enter IIST is nearly 7-8k not 1k. Also all the students have CGPA greater than 7.5 get direct requirment in ISRO (if there are enough vacancies) they don't need to give CAB exam.

I had a very bad experience with ISRO as a research associate. Only 10% of scientists work hard, rest of them are simply passing time, i.e, they just heat food that has already been cooked. The selection process is not transparent. I recommend UPSC has to be take over the prestigious recruitment responsibility. Then NISA will replace NASA.
