      @Susan-zk7ne Prophecy is always in part. 1 Corinthians 13: 8-10. God had to wake people up. Had President Trump went back in st that time, he would have faced the same obstacles. Things needed to be exposed.

    I gave two separate words to couples about seeing a child being born who have had miscarriages. I gave the first word to a couple and gave the sec. They got pregnant and had a miscarriage. Then right after that they then conceived and had a son. I needed to stand on what the Lord was telling me and not doubt. It was a lesson for me. It also happened to my Pastor who you know from France. I agree with this lesson

    There is prophesy that draws people to God and then there is wishful thinking, which usually just exalts man. we are not meant to operate as soothsayers or clairvoyants to excite people minds. our mission is to reveal God.

    I heard Kim Clement say once that when he would get a would that he would in the moment have to clarify to himself where it was coming form. Was it coming from the Holy Spirit? was it coming from his own soul? was it coming from the enemy?

    By and large, the charismatic movement does a horrific job in accountability of any form especially with the prophetic. I say this as one who has been a part of the this stream for 35 years. I agree that when training and equipping people to step out and take risk in a grace filled space is important, but God gives gifts as He sees fit and not every believer has been given every gift. While Paul says that he wishes all would prophesy doesn’t mean that his wishes were fulfilled in Corinth or any other time in church history. It is a gift to be desired, but should be handled with the fear of the Lord not loosely without any consequence because there are consequences that do occur in other people’s lives when someone is not speaking the actual word of the Lord. Prophecy is supposed to be judged and tested, because of the potential damage that has and can occur in its misuse. If one is in fact delivering the word of the Lord, then it will come to pass. This doesn’t mean it will be easy or immediate (just ask the Biblical prophets who are still waiting for words to be fulfilled from thousands of years ago). For those who are supposed to be seasoned prophets (who monetize their claimed gifting or office and consistently get it wrong), they should not only apologize, but likely refrain from prophetic or any other type of ministry. Many of these types prey on immature and unsuspecting people including children with recent proof being Bickle and Reid, who lead massive prophetic ministries and led thousands (probably millions) of people astray. Your non-repentant, low fear of God, non-accountability approach has caused far greater harm to the Body than it has helped and doesn’t represent a Biblical approach in the least. Prophets shouldn’t bow for fear of man or political correctness, but should bow for the fear of the Lord in humility. Encouraging people who are consistently wrong to walk boldly in pride is the opposite of what Jesus would do. You should be calling for accountability, not protecting bad theology and practices.

    Are you serious dude? Making people apologize for falsely speaking in the Name of the Lord is easy Biblical minimum. Yes they should be scared to death to get it wrong if they go public. No need to kill them but a simple "Hey I was wrong about this, Im sorry if I misled anyone" is commanded in Scripture because it says not to lie. If you lie, you need to apologize.

    • @dennishaggerty8155
      @dennishaggerty8155 5 дней назад +2

      A lie is intensional deception. We can tell people something we sincerely believe is the truth and find out later that we were mistaken. We should still apologize, but it doesn't make it a lie.

    • @Eloign
      @Eloign 5 дней назад +1

      @@dennishaggerty8155yea I think deception is tricky especially when it’s self deception. But at the very least someone should apologize so I agree with you on that.

  • @Susan-zk7ne

    It just seems to me that the person receiving the word needs to take it back to the Lord for more info or clarity. So often it seems like people just take everything at face value without seeking God for their selves and what He may be wanting to say more and the public word is the teaser to go deeper into Him for more detail. i.e.. What if all of us who heard the words about Trump being elected in 2020 would have gone to the Lord and contended (fought in prayer) ? And not just repeating and declaring but actually seeking God for direction each day and week as things evolved. Is anyone doing this even now or are we just playing a game? This can go so deep. God is shaking up His body right now and only those who really have a functioning personal relationship are going to make it. Religion won't cut it any more. oops I almost apologized for this. Sorry lol

    Robby, I have gone to a Catholic Church all my life and have recently figured out that getting to heaven is only a gift of God and nothing I have earned.
    In your example of you cannot be gay and be a Christian, I am trying to figure that out as far as salvation and going to heaven is concerned. I am not gay, but am wondering if there are sins in my life that could keep me from being saved and going to heaven?
    Still trying to undo some of the false teaching I have received in my years as a Catholic.

  • @MichaelZoltan
    @MichaelZoltan 5 дней назад +3

    I don't see it like you do Robby.
    I'll reserve myself to deferring to the the Holy Spirit instead.
    If He says "I didn't speak to that 'prophet' but he/she spoke on his/her own"; then that's the answer, and not some fancy tap dancing through scriptures to cover your own rear.
    I think you'd do well to do the same. Instead of going on some tirade through scriptures to explain an embarrassing situation; be humble and ask the LORD, "Did I miss you LORD? Did I speak on my own? What do you want to say to me about this?"
    Then make an effort to clear you heart and soul and guard yourself from defending your reputation. Again. Walk humbly before the LORD.

      @@n7ekg if someone says ‘God told me candidate x will win the election’ and that doesn’t happen, then the person who said that was not hearing from God because God does not lie. If a person says something will happen and it doesn’t happen then they’re not a prophet. That would be an example of having poor discernment. If God were to warn people by saying through prophets ‘candidate X could win the election but it will be stolen, prepare for resulting consequences’ then that would be more accurate to reality and more hopeful than a lie. God doesn’t lie, it makes more sense people want to think they are hearing from God even when they are not and they get it wrong. If people can’t get over themselves and admit they were wrong, that’s their problem, and the problem of anyone who follows them even if it means denying reality and becoming delusional.
