Alex Len he's the world's best falcon by far, probably one of the most skilled players in the game overall. Playing Falcon holds back his results somewhat.
Alex Len Falcon's advantage state is really good but his disadvantage is really bad. He has some sick combos and setups, but he's also combo food and his recovery isn't the best. When people really optimize his foot stool combos and stuff (like Fatality is starting to do) I can see him being high tier, but then again, most characters in this game still have room to develop.
Fatality at 7:19, he couldn't keep his excitement inside. The way he looked over when he grabbed the controller cord was unusual, and the way he walked to his opponent for the hand shake, and when he walked away from his opponent. You can even see him smiling at 7:34. He killed it!!!!!!

I think Falcon is the best balanced character across all Smash games. Well, besides Brawl, but that game had, like, five characters out of a 35 character roster worth playing seriously. Exploitable weakness, but making up for it with very good strengths. I mean, it makes sense, considering his moveset is probably based on the prototype fighter for the first Smash Bros. game.
I think it's just how hitstun works. He's still rather strong, but since linking any more than two moves together is really hard, he suffers a lot as a result. Not to mention things like move staling being crazy and momentum cancelling, and he's just prime material to be abused by chaingrabs and Meta-Knight shenanigans. And a terrible, TERRIBLE recovery.
Brawl is by far the worst smash game to date (in my opinion of course). It's so unfairly balanced that it takes moderate skill at best to play at high level play in brawl. You have certain characters that can do insane amounts of damage with chaingrabs and there is literally nothing you can do to stop it. Smash 4 is by far my favorite of the series, high level play is so much more enjoyable and intense and you actually have to be a solid player to play at high level play in smash 4. Besides brawl, yes falcon has been a pretty balanced to an above average character throughout the history of smash

I hope they buff Falcon's up air to hit grounded opponents and his initial dash and turnaround animation in smash ultimate so he can be like he was in smash 4.
