Hello! I havent gone through the Metaplex contract, but I think currently it supports minting of only 1 NFT at a time. Though, I think you can modify the UI code to mint multiple tokens. The CandyMachine UI uses this method by default: github.com/metaplex-foundation/candy-machine-ui/blob/main/src/candy-machine.ts#L371 Above can be run in a loop similar to how it was done in the JS CandyMachine CLI: github.com/metaplex-foundation/deprecated-clis/blob/main/src/candy-machine-v2-cli.ts#L997

The rest of it is mostly about making frontend cosmetic changes. I can probably post some variations of the minting page for reference. I am not a frontend wizard, so I am not sure how good of variations I can produce :)

Hello! The input at passphrase step is hidden, just like when we enter the password in the terminal. Just type whatever passphrase you want, and hit "Enter" key. It will ask you to enter the same passphrase again, and it will again be invisible. Give it a shot, and it should work :)

The owner.json, creeator.json and treasury.json, must they be in that folder or just for keep ? What happens when we deploy the candy machine, does it require the keypairs ? I thought during the sugar cli we provided the creator and treasury wallet.. I'm just concerned about security/safety.. Please explain to me is it necessary to have them in the folder? Is it safe to be there? If I write passphrase on paper and delete them from the folder will everything still work fine ?
Hello! You can put the keypair json files anywhere you'd like. For the sake of video, I just keep them together, otherwise it gets hard to understand where the keypairs come from when explaining everything. When you use Solana CLI, it requires access to the keypair json files. So just update the keypair path to point to the keypair json file. You can always write it on a paper (and keep it in a safe ;) ), and you can always re-create the json file using this physical paper backup. But usually, you might want to keep the owner.json file on the system until mint is complete, as you may need that keypair to interact with the CandyMachine. I hope this helps!

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. Can you share the error that you are you facing? Usually the Metaplex endpoint works for me for testing. Could it be that Solana was down when you were using it?
Hi. I’ve got everything set up but I’ve used guard groups which aren’t used in your example. Do you know why I get an error in the console saying that I need to select a guard group? It knows the groups as it gives me the names as an option to choose from in the console.
Hello! Yes, thats the challenging part with CM V3. In the video we only talk about the default candy guard group. However, if you follow the code, we call the `mint` method which can take in a group if you provide one. In a following video I will talk about Candy Guards and groups.

Hmm, I think have tried that in the past, and I was able to set 0 as the price. But do test it on devnet and let us know if it doesn't work :) Also, just a reminder that even if you set the minting cost to 0, the users still need to pay for the gas fee.

Hey my bro, I finally fixed the issue, the problem was that I didn’t have a “collection.json” & probably a “collection.png”. Once I got everything right in the assets folder, I re-ran the whole process again
bro, i need other little help, the other page dont let me comment more..... I created another candy machine by switching from the devnet to the mainnet, but after the verify, in which it found all 10,000 elements, it sent me a solaneyes link in which it doesn't recognize the address of the candy machine, and the page mint doesn't work. These are the official Solana cluster endpoints for mainnet-beta: docs.solana.com/cluster/rpc-endpoints#mainnet-beta But if you are launching your own collection, I (and Metaplex) highly recommend getting your own RPC node. Otherwise you may face throttling and all kinds of issues during creation of your Candy Machine and Minting. I recommend using QuickNode as I have had a good experience with them. Well, if you have already created your Candy Machine using the JS CLI, then I think that the things should still work. If you havent created a Candy Machine yet, then I'll suggest recreating the NFT config files. It should be fairly easy to write a script that generates it for you. I havent tested this, but probably you can keep the NFT config as it is, as no new fields have been added to the NFT configs, and only fields have been removed. Please make sure you test everything on devnet first.
Hello! Can you elaborate more on what you mean when you say its not running? Does it not recognize the command, are there errors, or just hangs? If it hangs, I'd suggest leaving it for 15-20 mins, and if you still dont see progress then we can try other things

Hello! This usually happens when "./wallets/Owner.json" is not a valid path from the directory where you are running the command. In this case, I'd suggest running "solana config set --keypair " The "Complete path to the keypair" might look like "/Users/someuser/Projects/wallets/Owner.json" or "C:\Projects\wallets\Owner.json" depending on the actual location of "Owner.json" file. To get the path, just go to the directory where "Owner.json" exists in your terminal, and run "pwd" I hope this helps!

* You are on the right network - devnet or mainnet
* Open your account address in public explorers

Can we change the minting cost 0.1SOL to 0?
Hmm, I think have tried that in the past, and I was able to set 0 as the price. But do test it on devnet and let us know if it doesn't work :)
Also, just a reminder that even if you set the minting cost to 0, the users still need to pay for the gas fee.

Hey my bro, I finally fixed the issue, the problem was that I didn’t have a “collection.json” & probably a “collection.png”. Once I got everything right in the assets folder, I re-ran the whole process again

bro, i need other little help, the other page dont let me comment more..... I created another candy machine by switching from the devnet to the mainnet, but after the verify, in which it found all 10,000 elements, it sent me a solaneyes link in which it doesn't recognize the address of the candy machine, and the page mint doesn't work. I get this error:
Before launching the collection on the mainnet, I didn't close the one on the devnet... could this be the error? if I close the candy machine the sols are returned to my wallet??

This shouldnt matter really. Devnet and Mainnet are separate. Can you explain what you mean by "not closing the other one on devnet"? Usually this shouldnt affect anything.

Another best way to estimate the costs are to run all of this on Devnet. And you can fund your account on Devnet with as much airdrops as you need.

But if you are launching your own collection, I (and Metaplex) highly recommend getting your own RPC node. Otherwise you may face throttling and all kinds of issues during creation of your Candy Machine and Minting.

This will mandate that I restart my assets generation because it changed the properties and their proceedings.
Well, if you have already created your Candy Machine using the JS CLI, then I think that the things should still work.
If you havent created a Candy Machine yet, then I'll suggest recreating the NFT config files. It should be fairly easy to write a script that generates it for you. I havent tested this, but probably you can keep the NFT config as it is, as no new fields have been added to the NFT configs, and only fields have been removed. Please make sure you test everything on devnet first.

Hello! Can you elaborate more on what you mean when you say its not running? Does it not recognize the command, are there errors, or just hangs? If it hangs, I'd suggest leaving it for 15-20 mins, and if you still dont see progress then we can try other things

Hello! AFAIK, Metaplex doesn't take any commission. It might just be the gas fees incurred for minting the NFT.

haha yeah, who knows what kind of magic Metaplex does behind the scenes. Its a complex contract as it provides so many features, so I'm not surprised that there are many transactions as multiple accounts might get involved. Feel free to share your txid, and I can take a look too :)

Hello! This usually happens when "./wallets/Owner.json" is not a valid path from the directory where you are running the command. In this case, I'd suggest running "solana config set --keypair "
The "Complete path to the keypair" might look like "/Users/someuser/Projects/wallets/Owner.json" or "C:\Projects\wallets\Owner.json" depending on the actual location of "Owner.json" file.
To get the path, just go to the directory where "Owner.json" exists in your terminal, and run "pwd"
