hello, great tutorial..one small problem, how can I public mint, after the candy guard is added I cannot mint even on CLI with sugar mint command I get this response: "Error running command (re-run needed): Payer is not the Candy Machine mint authority, mint disallowed.", but the mint authority in guard show command is the creator of the candy machine...in the sugar show command the mint autority is the candy guard address, until I added the candy guard I could mint in cli...after not...thanks in advance !
Hello! Candy Machine V3 has changed slightly when I created this video, and my UI fails when rendering the NFT after minting. But minting still goes through successfully and you should see your NFT in your wallet. I will update this UI soon. I am also working on another video with a UI that Metaplex now provides! It should be out in about a day or two.
The react app (root) disappears from browser upon loading. Unless I remove the candy machine ID then I see your landing page w/ an error message "please add candy machine ID"

Hey KeyStrokes! First of all, thank you so much for your tutorial. There is an issue though as mentioned in the comments before. "sugar guards add" is not supported anymore! The Sugar CLI version you posted can not be installed (Windows). Only the latest version works, which does not support guard somehow. However, I am struggling with the UI. When I go to localhost3000 I see the button "CONNECT" for wallets, but the button has no function. I do not know to solve this button issue. Any provided help would be very nice! Thank you very much.
Hey Jan! Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check what’s up with the new alpha CM3 Sugar releases and guards. As for the UI, can you check for errors in the browser console? Please note that we need to pick CM3 sugar releases, and not the latest stable releases just in case it wasn’t clear from the video 😊 When I was working on this, I mistakenly used the stable version, and it threw an error about guards not being identified. Can you double check that it’s CM3 specific Sugar that you are using? Though I won’t be surprised if Metaplex breaks it a few times before it gets stable, as it’s in alpha stage after all.
Can you share the repo and the solution so that it can help others too? :) I just tried using this release of sugar, github.com/metaplex-foundation/sugar/releases/tag/sugar-cmv3-alpha.2, and I was able to run "sugarCM3 guard show". I still have a feeling that you might be on the wrong version. Can you share the output of "sugarCM3 --version"?

Hello! I havent used Magic Eden launchpad, but I think they provide white glove service for launching your NFT collection. With Candy Machine V3, it provides a bunch of configurations via Candy Guards, and I won't be surprised if Magic Eden launchpad doesn't support all the features yet. 😊 If you end up using the launchpad, then please do let us know about your experience and the features it provides! I should probably do a video on it as well 😉
Hello! No, we should not update cache,json with anything manually. Can you ensure that you added the candy guards to config.json, and ran the command `./sugarCM3 guard add` after that? Please double check that part again :)

Another person mentioned about this error, and I just wonder if Bundlr just has downtime sometimes, and if these errors are intermittent, specially given how things are in alpha stage right now. Based on the error's recommendation "re-run needed", I would re-run the commands after a couple of minutes. Let me know if things still don't work for you :)
Hello! Below is what I suggested another member who faced this. Let me know if this helps! - Can you make sure that you have enough balance to mint, and that you aren't minting again using the same account (If you have added the candy guard which allows only 1 mint per wallet). - If you are being charged the bot tax (Check how much you are being charged for the transaction), then probably there is a violation of one of the candy guards thats in place for the candy machine. - If you know how to look at the Browser Console errors, then check for logs in there. That should clearly mention whats wrong.
Hello! It goes into the wallet that you configure with "solPayment" candy guard in the video. Metaplex takes care of everything, and creates the smart contracts for you when you follow the instructions in the video. You do not need to do anything else separately other that whats shown in the videos regarding smart contract deployment. Does that answer your question? 😊

Everything works, until the mint process, it says "minting unsuccessful" and the logged error was "Signature verification failed". For context, I did exactly what was in this video.
Hello! Can you check if the NFT ends up in your wallet? CMV3 changed slightly since I posted this video, and last I checked, the minting was successful, but displaying the NFT fails. I will update the UI so that it works. Though, you can also try to use the UI in the latest video that I have posted on this topic: ruclips.net/video/fsQIr2Lqy4Q/видео.html It uses the example UI from Metaplex itself.
@@Key_Strokes Yeah I checked that and no NFT was minted. Anyway, I already fixed it, and the problem was with dependency issues, I think some version of libraries have conflict with each other.
Can you share the config.json file? Probably you have setup the guard incorrectly in the config file? I just added a link to the config file in the video description. Please cross check your config file with it.

You mean to ask how to get transaction records for a wallet, and NFT attributes? For the list of transactions you can use "getSignaturesForAddress" and "getTransaction". To find NFT attributes for a given NFT address do this: 1. I cant remember which API we can use to get the token URI. Try to explore the APIs here docs.solana.com/api/http. Hey KeyStrokes! First of all, thank you so much for your tutorial. There is an issue though as mentioned in the comments before. "sugar guards add" is not supported anymore! The Sugar CLI version you posted can not be installed (Windows). Only the latest version works, which does not support guard somehow. However, I am struggling with the UI. When I go to localhost3000 I see the button "CONNECT" for wallets, but the button has no function. I do not know to solve this button issue. Any provided help would be very nice! Thank you very much.

As for the UI, can you check for errors in the browser console?
Please note that we need to pick CM3 sugar releases, and not the latest stable releases just in case it wasn’t clear from the video 😊 When I was working on this, I mistakenly used the stable version, and it threw an error about guards not being identified.
Can you double check that it’s CM3 specific Sugar that you are using?
Though I won’t be surprised if Metaplex breaks it a few times before it gets stable, as it’s in alpha stage after all.

Hello! I havent used Magic Eden launchpad, but I think they provide white glove service for launching your NFT collection.
With Candy Machine V3, it provides a bunch of configurations via Candy Guards, and I won't be surprised if Magic Eden launchpad doesn't support all the features yet. 😊 If you end up using the launchpad, then please do let us know about your experience and the features it provides! Another person mentioned about this error, and I just wonder if Bundlr just has downtime sometimes, and if these errors are intermittent, specially given how things are in alpha stage right now. Based on the error's recommendation "re-run needed", I would re-run the commands after a couple of minutes.

Hello! Below is what I suggested another member who faced this. Let me know if this helps!
- Can you make sure that you have enough balance to mint, and that you aren't minting again using the same account (If you have added the candy guard which allows only 1 mint per wallet).
- If you are being charged the bot tax (Check how much you are being charged for the transaction), then probably there is a violation of one of the candy guards thats in place for the candy machine.
- If you know how to look at the Browser Console errors, then check for logs in there. That should clearly mention whats wrong.

It goes into the wallet that you configure with "solPayment" candy guard in the video.
Metaplex takes care of everything, and creates the smart contracts for you when you follow the instructions in the video. You do not need to do anything else separately other that whats shown in the videos regarding smart contract deployment. Does that answer your question? 😊

CMV3 changed slightly since I posted this video, and last I checked, the minting was successful, but displaying the NFT fails. I will update the UI so that it works. Though, you can also try to use the UI in the latest video that I have posted on this topic: ruclips.net/video/fsQIr2Lqy4Q/видео.html It uses the example UI from Metaplex itself.

Anyway, I already fixed it, and the problem was with dependency issues, I think some version of libraries have conflict with each other.

Ah, I am sorry! Your config looks fine. I just re-read the error message, and it seems like you are using the wrong version of sugar CLI. Make sure you are setting up the correct version of sugar, and that you are using the right version as well when running "sugar guard add". The UI only supports the default config. I can add support for groups, but I think its best to wait for Metaplex to add that support in, as they can do it properly and define a right pattern for it.

How can I get its transaction records and its attributes through nft address

You mean to ask how to get transaction records for a wallet, and NFT attributes?
For the list of transactions you can use "getSignaturesForAddress" and "getTransaction".
To find NFT attributes for a given NFT address do this:
1. I cant remember which API we can use to get the token URI. Try to explore the APIs here docs.solana.com/api/http. I'll post back if I get time to explore and if I can find it again. If you are talking about the file names, like 0.json, and 0.png, then yeah, they need to be number by number. If you are on Mac, then I think there is a way to rename all the files in bulk following a serial order.
