Going for first time in October with my partner. We are going to hike each day but I’m worried about finding starting points of some of the hikes, many are not clear. Pico to zip o (clear) it starts at parking lot. Same with PR8 trail. Start at furthest parking lot but others, do you have a good tool/website that will show EXACTLY where to drive and leave car? I know many are not loop trails but there and back. Please advise. Thank you 😬
Hey Mitchell! I really don’t think so hey, I wouldn’t rely so much on apps when it comes to where to park. Most of our hikes are well signalled, parking should be quite “instinctual” when you get there. You could always ask someone around the area ;) people are very friendly here! What I would say though, try not to park on yellow lines, obstructing the road, etc…
A lot of people doing these kinds of things (so many more cars on the road) and it can make life tough for everyone.

It’s August 11th. Is it the hottest it’s ever been at 86 F or has it been hotter before?
The hottest day ever I, I believe was in the 70’s sometime, 38 degrees Celsius? I wouldn’t quote me on it though, very bad with numbers 😂
