Counsellors association welcomes removal of tax on mental health services - June 26, 2024

In Ottawa, representatives from the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) highlight the federal government’s decision to eliminate GST and HST from therapy and counselling services. Removal of the sales tax is a measure contained in Bill C-59, the government’s legislation to implement parts of the budget and the fall economic statement, which recently received royal assent.
