We did the 12 waterfalls a few years back while on vacation in Puerto Plata. There were long lineups of people doing the 7 falls because cruise passengers had limited time. It was well worth it to do the 12 falls since we got to jump off a pretty high cliff plus we get to jump the line when we reached the cruise passengers near the bottom. 😉😉😉

We did just the waterfalls adrenalin adventure and had the same slides no extras. I think you have to go do the excursion without a cruise 🛳 if you do more of the falls.

I know this is few months old video, but I had to watch it again because I am contemplating the Damajagua Waterfalls excursion in Feb on my NCL Encore sailing. I am just curious from your experience, is being able to swim a must for this? On my sailing, this excursion says "non-swimmers not allowed in the water". I unfortunately do not know how to swim. I do know how to float on my back. I see in the video that they provide you with the life jackets. Is the water really that deep or do you think I would be okay being a non-swimmer being able to go on this excursion. I am physically capable of doing the walk/hike. It just the "swimming" portion that has me conflicted. Thanks in advance for your input 🥰
Hi Dipa! ❤️ You do where life jackets but there are several points where you are not able to reach the bottom, so you would need to be able to swim and move across the water. Also whenever you jump off of the rocks the area you are jumping or sliding into is pretty deep and you are submerged a pretty sizable amount, so being able to hold your breath is definitely required. I hope this info helps make a decision! If you have any other questions about it just let us know! ❤️
