Hello Happy Travelers!
Welcome onboard Oasis of the Seas! This is the first of Royal Caribbean’s mega ships in the Oasis class! This ship is very unique and innovative with an open air concept and neighborhood style layout! These neighborhoods including the Boardwalk, Central Park, Royal Promenade, Entertainment Place, and Pool & Sports Zone! Because this ship has received Royal Amplification, the ship includes new features, such as the Lime & Coconut Bar, Caribbean Pool Deck, El Loco Fresh, the Ultimate Abyss, Perfect Storm Waterslides, Portside BBQ, Sugar Beach, Playmakers, Escape Room, & Music Hall! Of course, there are still fan favorites for Oasis class ships, such as the Aqua Theatre, Bionic Bar, Flowrider, Zipline, and Rising Tides Bar!
Today is BOARDING DAY, and what a boarding day it was! Today is the beginning of the first revenue sailing for Oasis and for a cruise ship out of Bayonne, New Jersey (Cape Liberty) since the closure! Today is extra exciting for us because it is the first day in our Crown Loft Suite!!! Surprise! For this sailing, we are taking part in the Royal Suite Class, so we can give you all the in and outs of the Sky Class experience including the Suite Lounge, Coastal Kitchen Restaurant, and other included amenities! This suite is spectacular and its a little hard to believe we have seven nights here! Sailaway from this port is always so special with the NYC skyline views, Statue of Liberty sighting, and narrowly passing under the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge! Another new experience for us today was purchasing the Refreshment Beverage Package! This includes basically everything but alcoholic beverages! So on this ship, we can use it to take part in the Coke Freestyle Machines, Bionic Bar, mock-tails, and more! And boarding day would just not be complete without checking out the night aesthetic onboard, and there is a lot to enjoy! We hope you enjoyed this first day with us onboard! We are on Oasis right now! Had dinner at Coastal Kitchen last night. It was just ok. In a mini suite and we really like it. Huge balcony! Cruise has been great so far.

We just got finished watching your day too video from Oasis of the Seas and again we are inspired because you guys going to the Italian restaurant and sitting outside in Central Park made us very excited because that's something that we want to do on our date night and it didn't look too cool that you breezy outside so that was a big thumbs up for us !!!!!!

Love the Suite life!! You do get spoiled though.. I found myself upgrading on many sailings to the Suites. Very expensive if you don't upgrade, and even then,it's still a few hundred dollars per person! Enjoy guys!!

Bionic bar doesn't know you just got soda. The chip in the cup governs the soda. And your card governs the Bionic Bar.
