In this video, I think the actual current is about 1A. If the motor operates with a current of 15A, you will need to use thicker wire.

Great! I have few questions.
1.What does EL jumpered to 5V mean in the diagram? Does it mean we need to connect EL to 5V?
2.I have motors used in hoverboard. What should be the minimum rating of input voltage to run the motor?
