Lea Beautiful video Lady! There is some fantastic scenery along coastal Florida. You captured it wonderfully! I can't wait for the next episode. Here is your usual Lady! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🏆🏆 Ride SAFE and BE safe Lea. 🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏🖖✌👌🤙👋🙂
Great job, Lea! A1A is a charmer. I like the squadrons of pelicans that some times are cruising along beside the road above the beach, like they are flying with you as you go. My daughter is in Jupiter, and I'll be driving from Daytona south on A!A to see her soon. Happy trails!
What a fantastic episode to watch. I wonder what fun things we will see again. You still fuel our desire to travel. Every time I feel like I'm watching a documentary that doesn't bore for a second. I'm glad you're back for the weekly appointment
I'm so glad for you beeing back on the road, i enjoy your life style and i'm sure i will not be dissapointed. Take good care of yourself. Looking forward for the series Lea.
A real treat, beautiful, interesting, full of amazing impressions of „typical Florida“, great travel content. I’m all ready for the rest, let’s go 🏍💪🙋🍀
Your content is superb. From telling the story to soaring drone shots, choice of destinations and your impressions...what's not to like? Thanks for another excellent, excellent post. Cheers.
I’m so happy I discovered your channel and this series. I’m planning a trip in a van there, and I look for scenic drives, views I can enjoy right from the van as I have a disability and I don’t explore too much on foot. Thank you so much !! 😊👍💖
An epic roadtrip, starting with a grandios ouverture, composed by pictures and views like a well done sequence of bright sounding major chords. Makes hungry for more soulfood like this - may the next curtain fall 👏👏👏.
😂😂😂 maybe I as well left a bit too much color in the videos - I as well thought that I look more tanned than ever when seing the video on the big screen. 😂😂😂😂
I’m so glad I found you! I leave next month “semi-solo”. Yes, semi-solo. My faithful Australian Shepherd is riding with me in the sidecar. I have only been riding for almost a year. I say “almost” because I recovered from broken ankle surgery last summer, both eyes with implants, and a total hip replacement in December. My ride is my 2018 Honda GoldWing Touring DCT. 9,500 miles. We are leaving Arkansas (home) with Stone Mountain GA as the first destination 9 April. Then we head to Haines City, FL to see my dear niece, who has a very rare and inoperable form of cancer. She is my favorite niece in the whole wide world. Her bucket list is to meet my uniquely gifted dog and to ride on the GoldWing. I unwittingly Christened the sidecar the Bucket Listin’. I pray I reach her in time. I don’t know how long I will stay. When proper, we will head for Key West. But for my broken ankle, I was going to take her last summer. Then up the eastern seaboard to Charleston, then to see the Hunley and pay my respects to her crew. It is said that the entire crew were still at their stations when found after 130 years I think. Then the Blue Ridge Parkway, exiting at Buena Vista to take in more Civil War Historical sites, including those directly involving my great great grandfather. Finally, we are heading for Clifftop West Virginia for the Appalachian String Band Music Festival. You can find annual installments on RUclips. It is always the first week of August. Then home. Next year we plan to head north and west and do at least part of Route 66. There is safety in numbers, and if you ever wish to return and have a stalwart companion, I’m retired with time on my hands and can be a “chase vehicle” for you I am 72 and have my own steady financing. I speak a fair amount of Spanish too! If you answer me, I don’t know where to look for it. Email gets buried. I hesitate to post contact info out in the open here, but I’m going to anyway. WhatsApp best. Text second best. +1 479 462 4183. Scott.
Welcome back, Lea! Since you were already going through, it would have been quite an experience to be in Daytona Beach when Bike Week was going on. SO MANY riders! A great place to see all the different motorcycles but, above all, to people watch. Maybe you’ll see it on one of your future trips to the States. ❤
Biking with you Lea ,is very nice. Your video's are exellent. I remember video's of Oman where the desert looked like gold. Also the video of: Epic East Coast USA at 34.05 wow wow. Until next time. Also discovered your West Coast ride..
well I cant say that east coast road trip is not the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about a US trip.. but that's what makes it super interesting to watch. keep the good videos rolling lea 🙂
Just watched your first Epic East Coast video, on Florida. Its astonishing how much development has occurred over the last 19 years. Last time I was there was in 2003, it felt busy then. Really liked the footage of riding over the bridges. I can highly recommend the space centre next time you are in Florida. Safe travels and looking forward to watching this series. All the best Steve
Your series in the USA and Oman have been epic, thanks for keeping at it. Having visited Florida a few times, both times in their northern hemisphere 'winter' I have to agree it is shockingly tropical. Almost equatorial thanks to the oceanic currents. I live in the Tropics in northern Queensland, however it's climate is more like southern California than southern Florida. As our cool season is mild, air is dry, and it almost never gets above 25c during the day for almost half the year. Funny thing is I visited San Diego once, January when they had an intense heatwave, but the locals say that was not the norm, and it's usually low 20s that time of year.
I am very happy you like the videos! Yes, to me it is crazy how different the climate can be within a few hundred kilometers of riding - you will see in my next videos how quick it changes! 🤯
I was just at the Davis Service Center in Montrose, Colorado on Saturday. That same mechanic in your video did my maintenance check up. Hot and humid could describe the entire east coast. Nice video, Lea! Thanks!
I could not miss this episode. I have lived on the Gulf side of FL for 39 years , Sarasota to be exact. And I have been pretty much everywhere in FL in those years. I have two grandchildren that was born in Daytona , they and their parents moved away from Daytona about 17 years ago , moved to Michigan and are very happy they did. Visiting FL and living in FL are two very different things. My daughter was raised in FL, she too does not live in FL , she and her husband lives in Virginia. I worked and retired here, and my aspiration was when I retired I would do the opposite of what most do , I would retire and move away from FL . 🤣😂 Not everyone in FL are on vacation , or out sight seeing and tourists have made FL a miserable state to live in. But the state survives on tourism . I agree St Augustine is a must see when coming to FL, it's history and a very unique historical town not often seen in the US. You missed absolutely nothing in Jacksonville , unless you want to see the Zoo, a few museums and the US Navy, it's a typical big city with high volumes of traffic bumper tp bumper. No fun, and that is typical of any big city in US but FL can have that kind of traffic in all towns if they are near water and touristy. I don't know if you have ridden along the coastal waters from Panhandle down to Tarpon Springs , that part of FL is still what I call old time FL , and deffinatly laid back and more what you would call common folks vs the East Coast wealth . Ceder Key is old time fishing town . It's a whole different atmosphere from the East Coast. And the reason most people will tell you to avoid riding in FL is because of the amount of traffic and accidents that happen , many just do not pay attention to those on motor bikes. I will be watching you travel up to Maine . I have driven to VA , flown to Maine but would love to do a road trip from Sarasota to Canada sometime too. Maybe I will learn of some cool locations . Safe travels and have fun 👍
I did all the west coast of Florida last year when I did the Florida cross country trip - I know what you mean with more relaxed, but I still really like the east coast - at least for traveling through it’s a pretty nice place . Two different experiences. I don’t know if I agree with the living part - me personally I could never live in Florida because I am not made for this kind of climate when it gets really hot and humid, and I guess because of the way I grew up I am only at peace if I have some mountains around me or have them in a reachable distance. And I understand your way of arguing about the downsides of Florida/it’s tourism and so on. But a part of my friends and family is living there and some of them are really really happy and cant even imagine a life in the Mountains like I love it, because it’s nothing they grew up with. I think the places we choose for living there as well have a lot to do with how and where we grew up and later where we found our business/find the right people around us. If you have never skied or motorcycled in the mountains you not gonna miss it - but if you grew up swimming in the ocean every second day you might as well not get happy in the rolling hills of Virginia. So I can understand their decision even if it never would be mine, because when I look at their life I think they found an awesome place for themselves and their family - and that happened to be Florida. 🤗
BRILLIANT! I’m planning a similar ride but on my Vespa. Thank you for introducing us to A1A. I’m excited to see where you go. I’m preparing myself for the coast to coast cannonball for motor-scooters in June.
@06:57 I lived off the Glades Road exit for 20 years. I wished I had caught the episode where you asked people where to go. I could have pointed you towards so many things. I drove the whole coastal road from Florida to Maine with my travel trailer in tow many years ago.
Great first episode! I need to ride Florida - so much to see. I live off of US Hwy 1 in NC… I-95 is the worst! You are quite the story teller and cinematographer, Lea - can’t wait for the next episode 👍
A couple of tips Leah, get a small electric pump that you can plug to the bike, next time you change tires install a 90 degree tire valve stem. Makes pumping the tires much easier
Being born and raised in Southern California, any place next to the beach is fine with me, so I don’t think riding through Florida would be boring. 🏝🏖 I wish I had the time to ride to Florida when I was in the army, stationed at Ft Monroe Virginia. This is going to be fun. 😘✌️👏👏👏👏👏
Another adventure begins. I am looking forward to viewing how each state plays out for you. I will also bet fewer "colorful words" get used on the coast ride. That adventure of yours was fun to follow btw.
Nice to see you in my neck of the woods..you must have passed within 5 miles of our home.. just loved the drone shots, Florida is beautifully dangerous, I’ve been bitten by snakes twice.. however it’s a great place to ride a motorcycle and your filming did it justice.. excellent indeed… take care💕💕
Miami , Daytona , Cape Canaveral , Cocoa Beach , Florida. How nice is that! Miami skyline is spectacular. From a few high risers to a Florida’s Manhattan in 15 years. So much looking forward to this trip. No red dress? Maybe a red swimsuit instead😊
Wow! When you rode the Jungle Trail you were only 5 minutes from our house! It would have been nice to connect with you but we were off this summer to Alaska on our Motorbikes! Hope you enjoyed our little piece of history!
Good tip @ 9:18 - Headin' for FL soon in a hopped '84 302 Mustang GT convertible. I'm 78 and I'm headin' to Florida to die, but before I do I want to take this scenic drive. Good on ya, man!
Awesome video! The views are amazing. I don't get why a lot of manufacturers don't use 90 degree valve stems for tires/wheels on street bikes, smh. The A1A looks awesome. Ride safe!!
I always also glue the license plate to its holder so it can’t be stolen. Although I don’t like very big cities, Miami looks not too bad (from far away). When I put on new tires, the first thing I did was give it 90° valve stems. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with alligators near me. The biggest native reptile we have is an adder. The biggest wild mammal is a wisent, the European bison. I would surely visit the space center; space was my most favorite hobby when I was in primary school.
Mine too! I would have been eager to go, but my timing was too bad with arriving there in the evening and not being able to find any accommodation within a distance of 100 kilometers. Next time!!!
very nice ride. I'm planning to do something similar in spring 2023, for your drone shooting did you take FAA 107 license?. for your on road shooting, you should consider the insta 360 camera. keep riding and give ass nice ideas and adventure.
Sorry, I considered it, but I really don’t like the angles of the 360 degree cameras (I know it’s trendy and everyone has it now, but I just don’t like it) + it takes up a massive amount of data-storage if filmed in a good quality (remember, all my videos here are in 4K and not just instagram reels) which on a trip like this is crucial too because I can’t carry around too many external hard disc drives. Long story short: I just find the 360 videos ugly, that’s why I am not doing them, and I really think us as content creators don’t need to go with every trend and need every new Gadget or toy to make good videos. I am 1000 percent more interested in a fpv drone than in a 360 degree camera 😂. I don’t know the license you are asking about, I have the European drone flying license and a proper insurance for my drone in case it crashes and damages something or hurts someone. Unfortunately there are no international standards yet, but I as well can’t take a license in every country I visit, so I tell myself that the european one is enough 😂
Just found your channel and i've gotta that route sound amazing (later i'll check out that across the US series as well ofc). One funny thing that struck me watching this video, taking in such amazing views along the way - how the F can someone say that florida is boring?
I think it’s mostly riders coming from Europe who are used to curvy alpine roads - and indeed there is not that many curves in Florida! But it’s just a different kind of riding or exploring!
Will do that on the way - oil change once a year is enough in my opinion and it was not even a year old at my time of traveling. 😉 don’t worry, I know how to maintain my bikes meanwhile (even though not everyone must agree with my style of maintannce)
If i call our friends in Florida.. many things he less or maybe never knows because traveler's trying for gaining more and more knowledge about places.. this is called Lia ✨👍
Lea, I have one question. Does your riding suit get hot? You are tropical Florida now and just wondering what happens when you stop. While riding you have a breeze. Looking forward to the trip.
If it’s hot it’s hot, the riding suit doesn’t protect you from the heat. 😂 But the suit I am wearing is in its biggest parts mesh, so it is not much hotter than anything else you would wear in the heat. If I travel to more cold places I wear a different suit with a goretx shell (and if I travel to cold and warm places I wear the suit you see in these videos, because it comes with an outer goretx shell that you can just put over if it gets cold or rains).
I just love to listen to you enjoying your travels while taking us along. Your accent gives your commentary something special. Thanks.
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for this episode. I am very much looking forward to next Thursday.
Thank you, I hope you will enjoy the next video too!
Lea

A real treat, beautiful, interesting, full of amazing impressions of „typical Florida“, great travel content. I’m all ready for the rest, let’s go 🏍💪🙋🍀

Absolutely beautiful scenery, filming, drone footage and commentary! The east coast is very interesting! All the best! 🏍🌊🏄♀️🌴🤗
Thank you, it really is a special place!
Spectacular, awesome and amazing 🥲

I’m so happy I discovered your channel and this series. I’m planning a trip in a van there, and I look for scenic drives, views I can enjoy right from the van as I have a disability and I don’t explore too much on foot. Thank you so much !! 😊👍💖
Been on the jungle trail and orchid Island many times love it
It was a nice surprise - I didn’t plan to go there before I took off, just saw the signs and wondered what it is!
Really loved it! I live in North Florida about 10 miles from St. Augustine, FL. Looking forward to that video.

well I cant say that east coast road trip is not the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about a US trip.. but that's what makes it super interesting to watch. keep the good videos rolling lea 🙂
Yes that’s true, besides of the big cities I think the east coast is often underrated. Will show you guys some great places!
wow LEA a lot of water instead of the sand like in your last adventure , hope it wasn't too humid for the start , you look really relaxed enjoy .
It was actually very and unusually “cold” for Florida! But was perfect for riding!

Yes I really would like to go there next time! But I as well want to go to Daytona again so that will make another great trip!

Hello from S.California to Deutsche Frau for your amazing video.
Hello! Thanks so much for joining!
Awesome ride !! 😊😄🙂
Thanks 💃🏻🏍
Your editing, comment, and content reminds me a little of Rick Steves travel show, and that's about as big a compliment as I could give.
I was just at the Davis Service Center in Montrose, Colorado on Saturday. That same mechanic in your video did my maintenance check up. Hot and humid could describe the entire east coast.
Nice video, Lea! Thanks!
Closed to vacations, open in the end of September, have a great and pleasant month, soon I will back to follow your journey. ✌️⛵

I'm following along on Google Earth so I appreciate the place names you see along your way.
Another wonderful trip you are taking us on, thank you!
That’s a great thing to do and will give you a really good feeling of all the places we visit in these videos!
Very nice to see the video, thanks from India.
Beautiful beach ⛱️ and nice vlogs 👌
Thank you!
Have a Great Time, Be Safe.
Thank you!
Encore une très belle vidéo tu est une belle personne 👍❤
Merci!
Wonderful video😍👍
Thank you
Another adventure begins. I am looking forward to viewing how each state plays out for you. I will also bet fewer "colorful words" get used on the coast ride. That adventure of yours was fun to follow btw.
I don’t want to spoil too much, but many states turned out pretty wet 😂😂😂😂
Nice to see you in my neck of the woods..you must have passed within 5 miles of our home.. just loved the drone shots, Florida is beautifully dangerous, I’ve been bitten by snakes twice.. however it’s a great place to ride a motorcycle and your filming did it justice.. excellent indeed… take care💕💕
Uh, I am happy I didn’t meet any snakes there! They are not exactly my favorites 😳😅
Not on this season - but I might bring back the red swim suit for the next adventure!
Wow! When you rode the Jungle Trail you were only 5 minutes from our house! It would have been nice to connect with you but we were off this summer to Alaska on our Motorbikes! Hope you enjoyed our little piece of history!
Oh nice, I hope you had an awesome trip too!
Ride safe!!
I guess because the Tenere is not a 100 percent street bike - but it’s still a pain 😂
Great video
Thank you!
I really like your style to editing videos. I’ll try to learn that from you 🤠👍🏻
Lea I love your gray sweatshirt from Munich. That’s me all the way! So my wife says. 🤔
It’s actually from the boxing club of a friend of mine and has nothing to do with motorcycles. But I bring it on every journey!
excellent!
💃🏻🏍
Thank you for showing all this. Although it’s beautiful, I will not ride over there. Take care.
Thank you for joining - good that I made a trip there so you can decide to skip it! 😂
Fantastic filming. As usaly.
Thanks so much!
Da samma wieder, ich habe ja wieder einiges aufzuholen :-))
So 😍 adorable ✌️✌️✌️loving it
Thank you!
@@Got2Go mention not my pleasure✌️😍😍
Nice sister 🙂☺️💚💖
Ride safely and enjoy nature ⛰️🏔️🏞️🏖️💚
And don't go fast 🏍️☺️❤️
And have a safe journey 💚💚😊☺️❤️
Thank you!
very nice ride.
Nice video.
Thank you!
@@Got2Go Might be just that. Honestly I'd be hard pressed if I were to choose which one is more spectacular.
Love your videos. I am curious how many mile do you average per day on this trip?
Florida has a reputation that you can meet all sorts of old reptiles there.
The also have many alligators, right? 😁
They have everything that I actually don’t really want to meet - as well a lot of snakes 😳😅
I am inspired
Thank you!
Your country is very beautiful. I will go someday if I can.
Good content
Thanks! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
@@Got2Go Welcome and Keep Going 😍
As the bike has been in storage for quite a while, you should have had a full service with oil change before you started
Will do that on the way - oil change once a year is enough in my opinion and it was not even a year old at my time of traveling. 😉 don’t worry, I know how to maintain my bikes meanwhile (even though not everyone must agree with my style of maintannce)
9:00 is 2 miles from my house. Beautiful area that I have always called home.
If i call our friends in Florida.. many things he less or maybe never knows because traveler's trying for gaining more and more knowledge about places.. this is called Lia ✨👍
Thank you!
Cool
Lea, I have one question. Does your riding suit get hot? You are tropical Florida now and just wondering what happens when you stop. While riding you have a breeze. Looking forward to the trip.
If it’s hot it’s hot, the riding suit doesn’t protect you from the heat. 😂
But the suit I am wearing is in its biggest parts mesh, so it is not much hotter than anything else you would wear in the heat. If I travel to more cold places I wear a different suit with a goretx shell (and if I travel to cold and warm places I wear the suit you see in these videos, because it comes with an outer goretx shell that you can just put over if it gets cold or rains).
👏👏👏👏
