There is also another dollar tree in what used to be a CVS half a mile from this one on 17th St. It's equally as large and tidy and even with a different selection! 😊

Next time you’re there get some of those dish drying mats. You can make mug rugs and all kinds of pouches with them. I crumb or strip piece on one side then make all kinds of stuff. I’d love to see what ideas you come up with. 👍🏻

Honestly, if the manager hates working at the dollar tree, the store will be a mess! If the manager tries to be "friends" with the workers, the dollar tree shelves will NOT get stocked. I'm not saying to mistreat the workers or anything....Sometimes, I travel to the "better" Dollar Trees for these reasons! Thanks for the video!

I'm in Chesapeake VA. DTs headquarters/ warehouse is here. Btw, their new building is the tallest in the city. All of our stores do not carry a lot o f stuff you tubers show at theirs. No 2 stores are the same . And we have a lot of stores to choose from. This store you are at is one of the best organized ones. And massive.

I was in a different area and found a Dollar tree, I expected to see about the same as my local stores - it was so overpacked stuff was everywhere! It was a total mess but they had everything. Tons of their fat quarters with different patterns. I am thinking with some store closings maybe they moved some of it here.

It’s crazy how much variation there is. Its why I’ve stopped doing too much dollar tree video stuff. It’s not fair to show people an awesome store and then their store is not up to snuff.

I've been watching a ton of craft room and quilting room videos, storage and re-purposing videos, and yesterday went 'hunting' at our version of Dollar Tree/Dollar General/Family Dollar, whatever the names were. Well, I can find nothing that I was looking for. And that was the second trip in the past few weeks. So, other people's 'dollar' stores are better than mine! But there's always Amazon. Oh, and I was also looking for a quilt like the one you made a pillow out of in a video. I'm a quilter - but I wanted a store bought one with a nice pattern to cut up. I do not do that to mine!!Couldn't find that either, at the thrift store.

Self advocate! Tell them about the Ocala store and ask them to upgrade. If enough people do, you might just get what you want. Store managers really do want to know! If you don’t tell them, how will they?

Tim - I wonder if the areas with the larger, and well stocked, dollar type stores are mostly in the south. Where you may find more retirees that sew/craft. I have never seen one that neat and well stocked in N.E. Ohio. We do have some suburbs that will not let any more dollar type stores open. It would be great to have some of these vacant pharmacies turned into stores like this. 😊

Thank you for taking us shopping with you.
As I'm unable to go shopping and we don't have the same shops in the UK, its always interesting to see what's available for people.
I tend to window shop on amazon, tesco and etsy and then various larger online yarn stores.
Its quite limiting sometimes, but I mostly find what I need.

Very nice store. Unfortunately a lot of stores present condition has to do with the clientele that shops there. Just an observation I’ve made in my store. I’ve used the Dollartree fat quarters for multiple quilts and they’ve turned out beautiful. It’s like a treasure hunt every time I go to Dollartree

Howdy howdy.. luv ur vids! But u got me. A bodkin🤔 is a tool that pinches/ grabs in order to pull or push things through a track or a slipway. That my friend..ya no. Lol but hey a fun fact, I purchased fq's @dollar 🌳 over a year ago abs low n behold months later MSQC was selling the same lines in Yardage fur much much more. 🤨 ... lol really fun watermelon line. Anyway,, I'm with you, wow the differences in locations. Its the same here in Northern Cali. And I have many friends out on the east coast n well everyone on the purge side of the rockies basically. They get all the yummy goodies. And I dint mean edibles! I mean crafty , yarny when a big Corp tosses product they'll get it and we don't. It's a down right dirty shame imho. Lolol I know it's a matter of supply and shipping etc to scatter the goodness.
    Ok i I digress 😂
One last thought, I've creativity not seen such selection of crafty and otherwise for that matter up here in my area as what you've just shared. I did hear about the up in pricing tho. 3$ 5$ etc. Somethings not being marked but you find it rather quickly @the cha-ching machine 💳 ( definitely a sign of the times when there's no cash register emoji instead there's only a credit card 😮🙃)
Have a Great Day &Fun Creating. Hope see you again soon.
