Very nice
I love the new flyer buses
Proterra just had to fail the Brake test, and now the MTA is even more into novabus and New Flyer than ever.
Does the Proterra bus sstill exist? I never saw it before.
@@vahemvm the company has gone bankrupt, however their ZX5 model is now being produced by Phoenix Motorcars
Nice
Fun fact: the new flyer XDE40 uses the Cummins B6.7 engine+ its hybrid. Btw nice vid
nice video . and also , i think the B60 would look good in the XD-60 since it's such a busy route .
So I rode 7731 on the B57 today (9/16/20) and I said to myself "Let's see if I'll see 7731 in this video..." and it just so happened to be the first bus shown in the video. XDXD
Is the c40lf MTA buses still around
Nope!
Bus station
I never realized how big that depot really was until now tbh
Just like MJQ Depot
To bad the B13 bus is not here in grand avenue Depot anymore
You just gotta look for b12 or 13
So these buses have air conditioners AND windows that open, all of which are. WTF?
my dad works at that depot he drives the b47
That is cool.
I love your videos. I have a question...the blue and yellow livery is for certain routes or it is the new livery for the entire MTA fleet? I have notice not many buses have that beautiful livery
The new livery for MTAs fleet
Can you create a video of east New York depot bus action
I did

Did you also change your bus logo?
Does nova bus go here?
How the hell does this depot/garage function???? Buses look stacked on top of eachother??? Buses ready to roll into the streets??? Traffic jams???
Buses parked up front as seen here are ready to be assigned and to go out on a run. It’s called “The Run Line.” This particular depot is extremely large at about a city block in length and has 2 floors. The second level is where they maintain buses from all over New York City. The inside is amazing! Check it out here ruclips.net/video/tqTVEZfgTWM/видео.html
@@dmcr9525 My small transit agency mind couldnt imagine working out of a garage with so many vehicles. Where Im from our garage is almost at capacity with about 80 fixed route vehicles.
@@GilligBusOperator I could imagine! We have more than 5,500 buses and this particular depot houses an average of 170 buses with capacity for up to 280 including the upper level maintenance bays. We have a total of 29 depots in the city. 1 of which in Manhattan is for Museum Buses only, and one in Brooklyn is Headquarters for all of Surface Transit. That depot holds about 300 buses. 260+ are for active 24 hour service and about 40 are in at any given time for maintenance, repair or major overhaul. 3 Depots handle majority of the maintenance for the entire fleet. It's really something to see if you ever get a chance to make it out here. We have a model culture that is just as large. Facebook.com/ModelBusShop
@@dmcr9525 Amazing . NYC MTA is the envy of transit systems . Minus the crumbling infrastructure .
THE BX36 LINES SUCKS THE DRIVERS ARE NASTY THEY SHOULD BE FIRED.
Hey do not say that!
Nice
