I can almost smell it!!! Why am I just discovering you?! Love the recipes, nice calming voice, and clear instructions without SO much “animation”? Gracias!!!
Oh, Soraya you have just made my evening and validated some of the thoughts I've been having. Since the beginning, my plans for the channel is to share this passion with all of you and to grow the channel the right way, one subscriber at a time. I challenged myself to record the videos in both languages Spanish and English and although it takes time and dedication I have no regrets. I grew up in Puerto Rico in a family of many cooks and it is a true blessing. I've been cooking since I was 7 years old and write all my recipes based on countless hours of studying the history of our traditions, food, and culture the rest of the recipes is a combination of many of the foods we enjoy and secrets I've picked up along the way the past 40 years. I invite you to watch some of my live videos where I share some of my personal stories. In my video The Truth Behind Evita Cooking At The Rhythm of My Heart, I talk about some of the reasons why I started the channel. After being given one year to live just over 14 years ago a new outlook in life was born. I am a very timid person, as you can imagine recording these videos brought me out of my comfort zone. Tonight you have validated that it is all worthwhile and that no matter the critics there are people like yourself that appreciate the effort and time it takes to bring you recipes you can enjoy. From the depth of my soul, I thank you for reigniting the flames, I really needed this today. Check out this recipe Pan Sobao: ruclips.net/video/JGm_Z-lAZFw/видео.html took years in the making however, it is my personal favorite, it always brings me home. God Bless you and your family always and once again thank you. And if it's not too much to ask invite family and friends to join and subscribe to the Evita Family. Welcome to my channel Nicole and thank you for watching. This soup is very tasty and the plantain flavors flows thru the entire dish. I used the plantain in different forms to ensure that the plantain is the star of the show. God Bless

@@sarahgreen5310 That's awesome..It makes me very happy to know that you're making it and enjoying it. Please if you can share pictures of your final product under the comments I would love to see it. I love olives too however, one of my boys is not a big fan and I tend to skip them just to be fair to him. However, my youngest son can sit and eat an entire jar if I let him. God Bless

Evita Cooking At The Rhythm of My Heart I love plaintain, but never had plaintain dumpling. I'm curious what it taste like.
@@Nicolethelinguaphile The plantain dumplings taste very much like a mofongo with a hearty chicken or beef broth
Can you please post a video of making the sofrito
