Metal Earth Model collection update (and more) Feb 2017

I am asked from time to time to show my updated collection. I managed a couple of weeks ago to squeeze everything in and put together a little video. There are a lot of models and such a task is not exactly difficult, but challenging when you have several roommates.

Great collection, there was a Star Wars droid I saw you have that I’m missing! Looked like a medical/service droid 🤔
I’ve had a lot of spinal surgery so got into doing metal models about 2-3years ago. my collection is vast nearly reaching into triple digits and grows by the week. Just got a bumblebee version 5/036 it stands 30cm tall and has magnets in the joints so it’s movable 😮 can’t wait to build it but I need a new unit as it won’t fit in spaces I have left in my two cabinets.

Thank you. My collection has gotten bigger since this video. I am guessing the droid that you are referring to is the pilot droid. It's a Disney exclusive. It's only sold at Disney parks but you can often find it on ebay. I have a Bumblebee model from MU that I still need to build. I wonder if it's the same. It has a few magnets.

Wow, what an awesome collection! They might be relatively small models but we still need somewhere to put them all! I had no idea you were such a big Star Trek fan either - me too. I've got quite a large collection of those Eaglemoss ships as well, but decided to stop collecting when the price increased recently. Hope you're continuing to get better after your operation?

Chris Wheatley before doing the Metal Earth build videos, I did Star Trek Starship magazine unboxing. I have paused my collection for now but hope to continue collecting them. As for my health, I find myself having more energy every day and it's great. Sadly my kidneys never recovered. I am working on getting on a kidney transplant list.
