    Allah says that in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find contentment. Dhikr, Dua and quran recital are remedies that help. Medicine can also help. Recite the dua prescribed by Muhammad (SAW) : O Allah, I seek your protection from anxiety and grief and I seek your protection from helplessness and laziness, and I seek your protection from cowardice and miserliness and I seek your protection from being overwhelmed by debt and from being over-powered by others.

    Thank you so much!! I had anorexia and in my family a lot just kept saying that I am not thankful for our food, that this is happening because my Iman is low (eventhough it was not) that I am making it up, that this is a luxury problem and that poor people could never choose such a coping mechanism. Honestly this harmed me so much and made me feel hopeless thank you for validating mental illnesses, they are real and can even be caused biologically. So be careful what you say to others, you don’t know what they are going through. If you are struggling reach out, you deserve to heal, Allah is maybe testing you with your mental health, but every illness has a medicine (maybe ours is therapy+ quran) you got this x

    One of the best and most rewarded hadith you'll ever come across:-
    Aws ibn Aws reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever performs a thorough ritual bath on Friday, proceeds at the earliest to the mosque, sits below the Imam and listens carefully without talking, he will have a reward for each step he took a year’s worth of fasting and praying.”
    Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 496
    Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani
    Al-Qaari said in Mirqaat al-Mafaateeh (3/1035): One of the leading scholars said: We have not heard in the teachings of Islam of any saheeh hadith that refers to anything like this reward, meaning: one should make sure to comply with it in in the hope of attaining that reward. End quote.
    Ibn Hajar al-Haytami said in Tuhfat al-Muhtaaj (2/471): It was said that there is nothing in the Sunnah, in any saheeh report, greater than this reward, so pay attention to it. End quote.
    Like the comment so it can reach out to more people. Share this hadith on your behalf as well to your loved ones for them to attain this huge reward and implement in your life too.

I would recommend you to be patient with him but if you can't any longer then ask for divorce, because to me, a husband needs to be wise with his actions and if your husband listens to his family without searching for evidence that you are innocent and they are wrong, and barely gives you time to explain a thing to him, then he is not even interested in you, and the relationship would not work properly in my opinion

As a muslim with different mental health issues I can say that the doctors in the West do NOT rely on drug-like treatment unless its absolutely necessary and u can always say no to it. Also in many countries it extremely difficult to get to muslim caretakers and you don't get the care for free.

    A common issue in the West is that unfortunately many Muslims in medicine do not go into Psychiatric or Clinical Psychology. Part of it is unfortunately due to so-called "guidelines" that go against Islam (i.e. Accepting LGBTQ agenda, Sexual practices being promoted before marriage). As a result, a lot of Muslims with mental health issues do not seek counseling.

    • @rjanjim
      @rjanjim Год назад

      Psychiatry is very poorly studied and very poorly understood branch of medicine and is thriving mainly because of pharmaceutical companies. If there were no drugs, the branch would practically go extinct and study of human mind will be just confined to psychology. Psychiatrists are the quacks of medical field. They pretend to be doctors and play medicine.

    • @mohamedaboelenin4209
      @mohamedaboelenin4209 Год назад +4

      @@rjanjim You're misunderstanding my point. I'm talking about the guidelines by which Psychologists and Psychiatrists in the West must practice under. For example, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) issued guidelines regarding how all practicing therapists and medical practitioners in the USA should treat individuals who identify as "LGBTQ", and these guidelines include endorsing and promoting a person to identify by whatever gender they wish despite being born otherwise. These same guidelines also include measures on promoting premarital sexual intercourse and masturbation (which are also haram). Going against these guidelines put a mental health practitioner at-risk of possibly losing their license or even being sued in a court of law. Involvement with such fitna deters many Muslim medical doctors or medical students from specializing in Psychiatry.
      I know this as someone studying medicine here in the US. I was NOT referring to the sharia and the guidelines from the Quran and Sunnah. I hope this clarifies it.
