Love the video! Thanks for sharing. I’ve never been to Paris. Awesome time, especially having to navigate around all those people in the beginning!

And near the end. If you need to make up time it can be impossible with the narrow streets. I just managed to squeezed through the crowd and runners at times

For over 20 years ago I run there , I start in elite group and the people who watch the race went crazy and support the runners .. this days seems very lazy!

Yeah the buzz was fast greater in Boston and London. Then again they are major marathons. Yet Paris is as major city as you can get! Wow what times were you running as an elite?

@@Fizz_Runner those years when I was running marathons I run between 2.15-2.19 .. Its was the era before the supershoes .. but I never was a pro runner , I had fulltime job , running was easy way to train and be in fit shape . I can see its more easier to run marathons now with those supershoes .. ur legs are more fresh in the race and after and u not get so much of the heavy impact .. thats why I think so many runs so well now .

@@Team.L yeah totally. You cannot say someone is the greatest by world records as they will keep improving. But race wins is more a testiment of greatness. Wow... Way to go you. Can you Run mara now? How old and what time can you get?

@@Team.L that is mental.... Love it. Running the fast blows my mind. Do you remember when a sub 3 was significant or you could easily run sub 2:45 early in your marathon career
