This is a real professional fan film production. Not like that amateur DBZ crap trailer from K&K Productions. Congrats for making this awesome live action representation of Street Fighter. Real fans with the real talent are the ones who can accomplish the greatness.

Wasn't this made by the same production team as the Assassin's Fist mini series? I know this predates the Assassin's Fist series but I think it was what prompted to have that series made. The guy that plays Ken here looks a bit like the guy that plays ken in the mini series too...
resurrection sucked it was a huge step down from AF sadly... also while the movie was great it had pacing problems like with Gouken's backstory that dragged on a bit too long plus we never got to see Ryu have a shining moment unlike Ken who came out on top. This would of been cool to see Ryu and Ken double teaming Akuma but I understand why they held that fight off but we'll probably never see that now...

Personally Brian Tee would be a better Ryu. Jon Foo on the other hand is too thin, he usually a miscast actor such as his roles like Jin from Tekken and Lee from Rush Hour.
@@Manesson You're right, I think it is the lack of Ryu's physique that makes Jon Foo look unfitting. Jon Foo has more of the characteristics of a younger Ryu, specifically in Zero/Alpha. SFII Ryu on the other hand basically looks like a buff, Asian cross between 90s Charlie Sheen and 90s George Clooney. It's difficult to find an Asian actor who looks the way he does.
People are liking it just because it has the "fan" and "dragon ball" attach to it. They forget that they were asking for donation and advertised themselves as "professionals". Besides, you don't see negative feedback because they delete and ban anyone who thinks against them. I mean, have you seen that last "nappa" picture? I'm shocked that I haven't heard of this before.. This is extremely well made. I especially love the character likeness, the SOUNDTRACK, and the special effects. If your new project is anywhere close to this level of quality I will be extremely happy. Keep up the excellent work guys.

Ken (Christian Howard) was perfect. But not Ryu (Jon Foo), 1. Jon Foo is not Japanese 2. Korean actor Mike Moh was a more realistic looking Ryu. 3. Jon Foo was not even a good Jin Kazama for the Tekken movie!
I recently learned about this project and spin-off series/films and D*MN I love it! :D I grew up with SF2 on the SNES system, so this feeds my nostalgia BIG TIME. Fantastic effort from all the people involved and 'Hollywood' could learn a thing or two about 'respecting your source material' from this project! Hope to see more in the future! :D

I really hate to accept that this is really better than any Hollywood SF movies.
