you are asking wrong questions. There is not really a better or worse here. Only you know your budget, your experience and what you need a lens for. Only you can decide which one is better for you
@PavSZ Hello, i had Sigma 60-600 with my Nikon D7200 and it was a great lens. Now I have Sony A7RIV and lens Sony 200-600. What do you think, which lens is sharper? 200-600 or this Sigma? And another question, do you think that's really difference between S 60-600 for Nikon and this new Sigma for Sony? I heard that Sigma change something now in this lens and it's better than older version. Best regards :)
a lot of questions. This lens will be sharper in my opinion as the cameras perform better these days than DSLRs ever have and it also has newly designed focusing motor. It will certainly obtain the focus better than the older version did. Sony 200-600 is an amazing lens but it is a different tool for a different job than this Sigma. Both as sharp as your shooting skills allow.
What camera backpack can you recommend for a larger setup like S5 II or EOS R6 with 60-600mm + second body + 24-70mm and maybe 50mm lenses? On top batteries, filters and a dji mini 3 drone would be awesome.
I use this backpack: ruclips.net/video/ZfDSp0ONRzY/видео.html It's a tight fit but it will take a camera with this lens, couple of other lenses and the mini 3 pro
Im a wildlife photographer and i dont really care about creeping since i handheld everything, now for the weight, im used to carrying 64 oz big water bottle full for 2.5 hours without being tired, which is 6-7 pounds, so that shouldn't be mucch worst to carry then the 105mm 1.4 lens i have
I think this is a hard sell on Sony. Something with 600 mm at the long end... I for sure don't need 60 at the wide on that lens. You know that screams compromises. On Sony the 200-600 is unbeatable against this one. I would love a third party maker focus on a longer prime (f4.5 ish) or zoom like 300-600?
wow. ! what camera and lens are you filming on ? i came here to watch the review on the sigma lens and my focus went elsewhere. beautiful video beautiful pictures !!
the 'lense creeping'(i think thatz how itz called) is by design:) for people who wish to zoom in&out in that way. therez a lock to lock it at the desired focal so that it doesn't creep p.s that zoom compression is tasty 😋
Do you think 2.5kg weight is too much for a lens?

If ever I needed motivation to pick up my weights and work my biceps 😅 - this is it 😊
you end up with one Popeye arm 😂
Beautiful shots on a beautiful lens :)
aww thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this new lens…seriously considering it for my sony a9…thank you stay blessed
Glad it was helpful!
Great review my friend. From beautiful Sri Lanka
Thank you so much 🙂
Would love a street photography video with this lens... ;-). Nice video, Pav!
Thanks!
beautiful shots, I like the moody editing you did. Did u use a lightroom preset?
Thank you!!
I'm using my own presets. They will be available to buy soon
Nice review! If you already have the 150-600 and shoot mostly at the long end, any reason to upgrade? I've been happy with the 150-600 so far.
If you don't need that wide end at all than no. There is nothing wrong with 150-600mm, very nice lens
It has faster auto focus than the 150-600 due to the updated focus motor.
it does
Should I buy sony 200 - 600 or sigma 60 600. Which lens is better?
you are asking wrong questions.

I am deciding whether this lens is better than the Sony 100-400mm G Master.
it is better because it has wider focal range. It is also very good optically but G Master is G Master
@@PavSZ What is so special about a G Master?
@@VeeTravels I'm not sure if you are actually asking this question for real or you are joking
@@PavSZ I am for real. From what I have read elsewhere, the only real advantage with the Sony is the burst ability.

What presets do you use for your photos? They are very pleasing 👍!
these are my own Lightroom presets. They should be available to buy very soon. I'm working on it

by the way: do you use the lens hood all the time? Is it a great benefit or can you recommend the lens also without the big lens hood attached?

if you have 105mm, than this will be not much different, big and heavy.

not for everyone for sure but there is a market for this wide focal range.
... and yes, Sony 200-600 is very good

I think this was filmed with Lumix S5IIx and Lumix 85mm f1.8 lens
What are those tags you have on the sides of the camera bodies where the straps would normally connect?
Peak Design

nope, that's not normal with any lens. The lock only locks this lens at 60mm, fully zoomed out.
@@PavSZ ah! i see i see, thankz for the tip:)
