Self restraint and patience takes time but experiences like this makes you reflect and learn pretty quickly. Good on you for showing your mistake. That's one of the best things about hunting - some days your quarry might outsmart you, and you must accept it and marvel at nature's ability to do so. It would only take away from the experience if it was easy!

You make good videos 👍🏻 Why you often change target if you miss it (this and another videos), why not to shoot another round for the same bird so you might get that wounded bird down… I know that situations are fast but when I’m hunting birds, I’ll keep focusing at the same bird so I wound only one if I miss it

first shoot than think , nice aproch. I really wouldnt like to wander the riverbank if you just shoot straight at the riverband. And no time to aim , just shoot in the gernerall direction of the goose , some u kill , some u injure.

Nice hunt, i was about to give you a hard time about the flock shot...always get as close as you can before shooting. But hey, you dropped on i believe so it wasn't such a bad decision? great hunt, stay safe, might want to invest in a float and long small rope to attach to that boom stick incase it does go in like it almost did when you hit the bigger rapid. great video, reminds me of my younger more ballsy days.
