I actually live in Greenville North Carolina about 10 minutes from where Grady white boats are built very nice boat very popular here in North Carolina
My grandfather had a Grady and loved it. I have a lot of great memories with him on that boat and I wanted to get one myself, but I heard they have a lot of transom issues.
I think they are better in the ocean, in a sense we get rougher water on the great lakes. Short and steep and you need a true 24 degree hull at the transom, but they take power and fuel so they just chop up the hills to make whoever happy.
They make some nice water craft. Good boat, good captain

G
glad to own the same boat Sea La Vie
Grady White doing Grady White things…like decks going soft and the transom and stringers rotting out ?

They are a fantastic sea boat, just wish they were a 33foot version with a inboard engine
Not that half an half inboard outboard nonsense
To bad it doesn't have a deep v, it would be the best boat if it did.
