THANK YOU SO MUCH.... I had been using an older version of RStudio for months because I could not figure out how to install Rtools. This is a very helpful video.
Thank you so much! I spent days trying to set it all up on my windows computer. All my team mates work on mac so they neither had any issues nor knew how to help me out. Your tutorial helped tremendously and now I create the figures! Thank you!!!
Thank you! Its incredible how complicated this is for non-programmers. I have managed to install everything thanks to your video- I got a bit lost at 8.30 and when running R studio realised I had missed a step but have managed on reviewing video again. thank you!
The MCMC program could not be run for a long time. However, MCMC is now available with a concrete and easy-to-understand explanation of environment settings in this video. I really appreciate it. I'm Japanese, but iAnalyticsGeek's English is easy to hear and understand. I'm really thankful to you
I'm not entirely sure WHY it worked, but it worked! Thank you so much, I would have never figured this out alone. I've been using RStudio for 3 years without any real problems, and then one day last week I was no longer able to load any of my packages with an "Rtools is not installed" error. I still don't know what I must have done to mess everything up, but this completely fixed it.
Thank you sir. I updated my R to 4.0.0 and immediately rolled back to older version because I couldn't set up Rtools40 successfully. Now thanks to you, I am using Rversion 4.0.0
This is by far the most helpful (because it is the most detailed) video for installing Rtools40. In particular, I appreciate your advice on how to save the files all in the same directory (so you can find everything in one location). However, demonstrating how to make directories writeable saved the day. Thank you.
This did it. Thanks. Some advice I would give is to slow down at the variable environment part. There's a very small window of time to pause on the path you put in for user variable. And I didn't realize you repeated the path edit in the end back for the bottom box until I put your video at 0.5 playback speed. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this! We were tasked to used R for research statistics and I just suck at these IT stuff it was giving me anxiety. This video is just so helpful, thank you so much!
I absolutely recommend this video from installing part to analysis part. Because I had many problems to using Rtools in the analysis process, ı tried to install the three packages according to this video and Rstudio worked without any problem. Thank you very much to share these ways with us
Thank you so much. Initially I was lost and didn't know how to download the R software. Thanks for the detailed video, it helped me install seamlessly.
Thank you so much. I had a terrible time with all the errors and I don't have a single clue what is wrong. This is very informative and had helped me greatly.
please create create a empty file .Renviron at that location "C:/Users/?????/Documents/" (using notepad on compute and save as option, and in dialog write no name and just .Renviron and then save the file) should solve the problem (see comment by rapsodiatw ) if in case you are facing similar issue...
Thank you, very well explained. I was able to easily follow and download R, Rtools and Rstudio after trying multiple times without any results, prior to watching your video.
Awesome... thank you.. :) if you liked the video, plz give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.. you can also watch the other courses here :) happy learning..
Thank you so much! You made an amazing and life-changing video. I was in trouble before watching your video. But I recommend to others to install the R-4.0.2 version instead of R-4.0.0. I tried R-4.0.0 but not working for my PC showing pop up and Agricola package is not working in this version. But I installed R-4.0.2 and compiled it to R-studio as per the video. Now it's working well!
But for many others, there was no issues with R-4.0.0 as well.. none the less, Any R-4.x.x version should work fine, if my instructions are followed exactly... :)
Thank you for this video. Solved my problem while installing Rtools40. I am facing one problem in windows 7 operating system where I am not able to follow this PATH="${RTOOLS40_HOME}\usr\bin;${PATH}" (8:00 in the video). I don't see a new path in the user variable section and cannot edit the path with a new path. Can you please advise here??
Thank you so much!!! You have saved me a lot of frustration. I have one question though: If I install a package, the installation doesn't go on but it says 'The downloaded binary packages are in C:\Users\HP\AppData\Local\Temp\RtmpwzqNbR\downloaded_packages'. It doesn't go through with installation like in your video at 12:44. Thank you again
