glad to see that the tops Armageddon redeemed itself! But I am really digging that Schrade Bowie! Love the chopped-off tack! Can't tell you that enough brother! God bless!
Lovin the Chop off series Tac.. I put my money on either the Kershaw camp 10 or the GS010 closely followed by the Esee Junglas. Keep up the good work Your Brother from Wales.
Man, that 45 bites a lot harder than I expected. This whole selection is crazy. And I want all of them. And they all together equal to two months of my earnings.
Hey Tac, could you do a vid about your experience buying your land and cabin? maybe some dos/don'ts and tips? Would love to own something like that one day ;)
I could not find part 3, but I didn't look too super hard. Anyway, would have loved to see the Mtech Xtreme Raptor vs ANYTHING. $45.00 to $60.00... kills everything
Wow, pretty amazing line-up here, Tac! Yep, when you tested that GSO, I was already secretly hoping that you would not include it in the Chop Offs (I am a Kershaw Camp 10 fanboy :)). Can't wait for the finales!!
You've got a lot of nice blades bro. That being said I have a few questions for you. Let's say you are transported back in time when dueling was a thing with all your blades. You will get resurrected twice if you lose either of the first two duels and you have to fight three duels total. Which of your blades in these three categories would you choose. One with a 15 inch blade or smaller. One with a 12 inch blade or smaller. And one with a 7 inch blade of smaller. I'm sure it wouldn't be an easy choice but I think it would be interesting seeing which three you'd choose. It will pretty much tell us which are your favorites and most trusted blades.
Tac, I am starting this comment right after the initial chopping, but it really looked like the TOPS Armageddon won that first part. The last hit with it on the first regular hold test went the deepest of any of the knives and it was slightly deeper than the GSO 10 on the second three finger part as well (at least it looked that way to me). The GSO was better on the downward chops penetration test, BUT it looks like it got stuck too easily so for me that would be a factor. If I had to I would call it a tie. The Armageddon really needs to be in the final shoot out, IMO. AWESOME series so far. It will be great to see who comes out on TOPS......er top.
Hey Tac I just subscribers today and your videos are awesome dude I'm looking to buy a Schrade 45 or a Condor Dundee Bowie, my concern is whether or not the Schrade will brake on me because of a bad heat treatment. This Bowie I buy will go camping with me and also be a survival blade to go in my survival bag. Any advice would help me alot
The schf45 is a beast for sure. If schrade gave it a more Tradition hilt, and handle, it would look better imho. You may need to Review that Tops Armageddon again alone. This one seemed much bette than your old one.
***** ... I just don't like rubbery, easily damaged handles. They are great at shock absorption yeah, but get damaged too easily and ruins an otherwise great knife. Plus, i like those classic guards/hilts to protect your hand if needed.
try to hit the wood the same with all....the gso was more wide hits thus removing the softer outter wood. the becker was trying to remove more centrally located (harder) wood. notice when you hit the ass end of the log in the center the knives would bounce. when the blades hit the outter part of the log first it dug in...just my observations.
Schrade really has put out some good products lately. if anything it's nice to have some knives you can beat the crap out of and not worry about dropping $200-$300.
hey tac bratha! I made some special gloves for in service clients over seas, in country an etc, but the point is, is that I made gloves with a special kind of steel lining with rubber under mold so if you would say grab electrical open wires, you wouldn't get shocked the steel lining for if you have to I don't see why the hell yall would but if you gotta stab your hand it won't go through. of coarse I tested it myself an I added my own kind of steel knuckles so the punch is like being punched by brass knuckles, I haven't priced them yet so I'd like to send you 4 pair if I may sir!
Instead of using the SCHF45 as the Schrade representative, it would be better to use the SCHF 48 (Jethro). The 48 is heavier and hits harder due to the kukri style blade. It might even be the winner of this group. And it's also a budget blade like the 45.
I want a gso 10 and a Kershaw camp 10 no chainsaw needed wow I dig these vids! these vids help me make big time! in Canada we can grab a ker 10 but that gso 10! just a nice size too! and to all I do have a bk9 but I want a gso 10 thanks Mr. Tact walk tall dude
Say Heah Tac'ie, Man I wish you could of used my Rodent 9 or even my SP-53. But also up my sleeve my (3) Busse Combat Anneversary Straight Handle Battle Mistress L.E., my Ergo Battle Mistress and my Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Steel Heart. My Three Cavaliers .,,.
can you use a new piece of wood for each knife when you are seeing which blade will stick in the wood better?? think using the same piece of wood your opening the wood for the next knife no???
before I even watch this man, this is some top tier stuff, a lot of losers in the previous parts, looks any of these could have wiped the floor minus maybe some of the winners.
Say Heah Brother Tac't, You should lemme face-off my stable of contenders in the heavyweight decision, I keep my contenders in great shape. Leading the contenders, We'll the more expensive would be my Anneversay Straight Handle Battle Mistress LE, then it's tag team partner and champions I might add is the Nuclear Meltdown Fussion Steel Heart, then the Ergo Battle Mistress which I just got so I still don't know it's full potential. I do know the Ergo handle is a awesome design for a chopper and also a very manageable for the finer stung, Then my Rodent 9 takes high honors, The O. K C. Gen2 SP-53 is almost in its own class, I call the class the econo class. Yeah for the, $$$ very few knives touch it. I used a Work Sharp on my Ranger RD-9 and teamed up with the Ranger Afghan and the two tag pretty good. Then ofcourse my Gen2 SP-51 is a very decent chopper in the BK-9 class. Oh yeah, Both of my M-43 Himalayan Imports Khukuris, especially the larger one is a heavy hitter. Then the Cold Steel Khukuris Plus in O1 all of the above I teamed up with smaller knives, Except my Johnson Adventure Potbelly, or my Ratweiler I practice using them as a One Tool Option. But to be brutely honest, The Axe Rules especially in the winter when you need to process alot of wood to stay warm. Tell your honey that I Wish her a Safe Memorial Day.
caaaaalled that shit! knew that bad ass gso 10 was Guna dominate, just got a bk9 last wk and i gotta agree with ya bro. it has better geometry than the schf45 but bang for leroy bangs allllllll night
Nice! Thanks for giving us the chance to make it right with that Armageddon.
TOPS Knives badass
I love these "chop offs" idea, I dunno why I had not seen these.
That Schrade is the best looking knife out of all 4 parts so far, that classic bowie with a modern twist.
After you did that GSO review I knew it would kill in the chop off. Excellent series.
glad to see that the tops Armageddon redeemed itself! But I am really digging that Schrade Bowie! Love the chopped-off tack! Can't tell you that enough brother! God bless!
Lovin the Chop off series Tac.. I put my money on either the Kershaw camp 10 or the GS010 closely followed by the Esee Junglas.
Keep up the good work
Your Brother from Wales.
Saw this vid posted and I was like "Allllllright"!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers Tac, friggin awesome, look forward to the Finals.
Man, that 45 bites a lot harder than I expected.
This whole selection is crazy. And I want all of them. And they all together equal to two months of my earnings.
Great series of videos! Can't wait to see the finale.
man I had my money on the 45. big fan of that blade. can't wait to get my own
Great vid Tac ! Looking forward on how the GSO does against the Junglas !
Good chop test as I am surprised the Schrade hung in there as what a budget knife...Good vid...
very nice! I would love to see how my OKC RTAK-II would stack up to these guys. I'm loving that GSO 10!

Damn this is a good gigiant surprising "chop off"!!!
Looking forward to the finals !!!!!!
I could not find part 3, but I didn't look too super hard. Anyway, would have loved to see the Mtech Xtreme Raptor vs ANYTHING. $45.00 to $60.00... kills everything
Seriously Raptor would have smashed anything in this competition
Wow, pretty amazing line-up here, Tac! Yep, when you tested that GSO, I was already secretly hoping that you would not include it in the Chop Offs (I am a Kershaw Camp 10 fanboy :)). Can't wait for the finales!!
I had my volume max on my headphones for the starting oh shit dude that was loud. my ears are still ringing 5 minutes later
favourite intro so far for this channel
+Gabriele Magnabosco it's pretty good I just wish that I wasn't as deaf as I am now:(
Frank Heinrich for me, the insane deafening volume is a plus... sorry for your ears
i just knew that was going to happen to someone!
I cant believe you dont have a rtak 2...im looking to get that over all the other blades youve shown...anyway...pretty cool series
Oh Happy Memorial Day Tactical.
Enjoy the Freedom others provided us...
Love that GSO. Gotta save up for one.
Great video Tac
I got the schf45 thanks to you tac. Your orig. video on it. Thanks man.
great video, really like the first ,3 knives but the shrade is the best knife for the price. high five.
thanks Tom
This series is epic!
GSO10 "edged it out". Man you are a poet.
I really would like to see you testing a Rambo anniversary knife my stepdad has one and it's a monster!!!
If my life depended on it, GSO 10 hands down. For budget, Schrade. Great video my brother. Thanks.

That GS010 rocks. But I'll have to stick with my schf45 till I win the lottery.
Hey Monday mornin Tac haha nice vid Tac +Tactical

I agree, I would like him to call it a tie just so he can throw the Armageddon in the finals as well.
Robert N Right on Robert!
Agreed
Hackiem Shavar Lets hope Tac is listening.
this is the best set so far bro
true
Love this series bruh :)

It would have been interesting to add a Busse/Swamp Rat/ SYKCO blade in the mix
Mass + Beers = POWER!
Remember that axiom, kids!
Go to mass take beer get superpowers,
Check!
Can barely wait for the finale
Schrade really has put out some good products lately. if anything it's nice to have some knives you can beat the crap out of and not worry about dropping $200-$300.
loving this season

they are also extremely comfortable an light weight
you planning on getting the new cold steel katanas? hoping a review comes out for them soon, so I know which to get. cool video btw.
I like that Schrade 45 good video

The sp45 isn't "just a fighting knife" lol, it's a survival knife.
For dildos to survive a zombie apocalypse?
I wish I could send you my sp51 as a late entry to take the place of 45 it would rival those by the way that survive knife is the best such quality
tac what are your thoughts on CFK knives?
I want a gso 10 and a Kershaw camp 10 no chainsaw needed wow I dig these vids! these vids help me make big time! in Canada we can grab a ker 10 but that gso 10! just a nice size too! and to all I do have a bk9 but I want a gso 10 thanks Mr. Tact walk tall dude
both are great
I love my kershaw camp 10.
Great vid Tac but in your original video about the contestants you said the SCHF 48 would be in it, just curious why I havent seen it.
over 11 inch blade, I messed up
TAC! when are the finals bro?!
I thinks it's gonna come down to the junglas and the gso 10
Yo you got the Ontario SP51?
that gso is just calling my name. I want to see it up against my junglas tho
so Tac,
in all the chop-offs no kukris?
have you ever tried out the Tops kukuri? or the Condor kukri? they chop like hatchets, not knives.
that's why I using normal blades
This was the strongest tier by far
cool stuff bro
What knife wins this chop off is going to be my chopper
But there is no kukri
whens the big ending bro hope you had good weekend
should do some tomahawk chop offs
Tactical did several Tomahawk Shootouts. Small, Medium, Large sizes...
GSO 10. Superb !
My Three Cavaliers .,,.
i just wish the GSO10, was 1/4 thick.... with a solid tip. if I'm going to bet my life on a knife, i don't want it to break...
dam good vid brother tac!!
thanks Kevin
can you use a new piece of wood for each knife when you are seeing which blade will stick in the wood better?? think using the same piece of wood your opening the wood for the next knife no???
nice vid man
Loving these chop offs Tac, may I ask who does the intro music?
Sounds to me like Skindred?
Song: Sons Of Plunder.
+REaDyNECK BLESS Cheers dude, 👍
+cMaXeJIJIo Cheers dude, 👍
Chop 'em Playboy!
I just don't trust tool steel not to break. I trust my BK-9 and SCHF55 though :)
before I even watch this man, this is some top tier stuff, a lot of losers in the previous parts, looks any of these could have wiped the floor minus maybe some of the winners.
9:22 "its big and its thick."
That's what she said.
Tac, I'm curious what happened to the first Armageddon? That thing busted up my pinky, so I sold it three days later.
sent it back
i wanna se gso vs junglas 😎know the gso ha better steel so it can manage a thinner behind and at the edge
stay tuned
+Tactical looking forward too it. have you done anything to the factory edges? know that both can be thinned quite a bit
+Tactical tactical when you where still on facebook. you said you would sell your Armageddon is that still open?
Say Heah Brother Tac't, You should lemme face-off my stable of contenders in the heavyweight decision, I keep my contenders in great shape.
