This man has done over 500 make a wishes... there’s no doubting Cena’s heart and character.
That's why in my opinion he's been the perfect guy to carry the company all those years
He’s big the only wrestler to do 500 make a wishes. He’s the only one who gets media attention for it. [+]
Cena is bisexual he's just not admitting it.
A lot of celebrities aren't good with speaking on these "issues".. but holy cow, Cena served an intellectual dish here.
Not only that, but after The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Rick Flair and everyone else, it was quite refreshing to hear a professional wrestler out of character. You know... speaking like a normal human being
@@sidekick4 this was 6 years ago. Cena was definitely still in it 6 years ago....
Ya and others forget the
LAMB SAUCE !
Bro he’s actually a really smart man people don’t see that just because he’s a wrestler and is in Hollywood he’s very intelligent
Johnny vargas. It's not that... They physically CAN'T see him. Bllllaaap DUH DUH DUH DUHH
This is just further proof of what a class act and great guy Cena is. Say what you will about him as a wrestler, the man is a good man with a good heart.
He had a good match with The Great Kali. He is underrated as a wrestler.
apart from the part where he cheated on his ex wife multiple times.
All he knows is PR
He’s human at the end of the day. No one is inherently good or bad. Being a good person is a decision we make every moment. We choose to be good or not. He didn’t choose to be a good guy with Alex Riley.
It is what it is. [+]
@@yebutmynameiskyle You'll find some of the best celebs have done things in the past they are very ashamed of, and it likely drives them to be better moving forward. Mark Wahlberg is a prime example.
This is why I don't understand why people hate Cena. He may be booked strong, but he's the face of WWE with reason. He's a decent wrestler, and he holds his own outside of WWE like no one else.
He's hated because he's a corporate kiss ass.
+PunkNation26 my nigga if youbwhere making 3.5 million a year you'd be a corporate kiss ass too
screaming angel No i wouldn't. I could live just fine making about 1 million a year or even Del Rio's 450,000 per year.
I couldn't live with my self knowing that people hate me for being a phony asshole.
PunkNation26 ehh I guess it depends on the person then
+PunkNation26 so, him doing what the boss wants him to do makes him hated?
This is the same man who went on SNL and CONVINCINGLY told the world that “a banana is a yeller snack that monkeys eat”.
@SteveEarl well yes, I mean he isn’t wrong lol
I love how pro wrestling paints these guys as cold-hardened gladiators but their interviews show how caring and empathetic they are
I honestly hate WWE but John Cena is one of the most genuine people I've seen online. Pity we couldn't have more people like him
Are YOU like him?
Man, Cena putting parts of his family on blast for not accepting his older brother when he came out in his 30's. You can tell it still pisses Cena off, no way he would've brought that up if it didn't.
Not surprised. Every time I see John Cena on an interview it seems he's nothing less of good human being.
@@brennanwebb8755 ?
Who was larry even talking to? The walls?
What’s wrong, I didn’t find anything u toward w what he said

why do white ppl love this joke
@@FlipsideJr racist
@@FlipsideJr exactly it’s old now we get it
I may not like Cena as a wrestler but he seems more genuine than most WWE stars & I have a lot more respect for the man after watching this interview
I always never thought much of John cena simply because he was a wwe wrestler but Larry kings interview really showed this guy is intelligent and a better human being than the soulless devils that run this country
He has always been intelligent! Hell ! I'm Chinese and he knows more words than me
It goes without saying that John Cena is awesome. But can we also give Larry King some props? People of his generation are usually not very accepting of the LGBTQ community - but I think here Larry sort of let his guard down and showed us what a compassionate man he truly was. He seemed honestly perplexed that anyone would discriminate against someone for being gay. Two legends right here in this clip. RIP Larry.
I love how Larry King says: "it boggles my mind that it is even an issue." And yet he is the one who brought up the entire issue?
+LK Campbell that's his job as an interviewer though
Fr0st1989 this interview did kinda annoy me. it is an issue because it is divisive due to normative effects on both sides. People are generally bisexual and choose to lean one way. If you don't believe me, then why was hypermasculinity popular at one point, and now it is being gay. It also ignores the whole context of a relationship by overrating consent, as the only thing to matter. Compromise, understanding, and accountability are far more important.
There are a multitude of relationships anyone with a good memory can have, and to strictly see it in this man/woman/whatever fluid identity way, downplays everyone's role as a whole.
Chris Kanyon was the 1st openly gay wrestler to come out. WWE wouldnt let him. A smaller company did tho later. May he rest in peace
Nobody better than Kanyon
Actually it was pat patterson
@@CountryboyRew but the people who were the first to find out found out the hard way...😬
cena.. such a cool guy
Say what you want about Cena’s character in the wwe but the man outside the wwe is a class act of a human. This is just one way he keeps my respect.
When John said that they are Italian, it reminded me of a scene from Family Guy!🤣
Lmaoo I know which one you’re talking about 😂😂😂
"If it affects me clocking in and out, I'm gonna have a problem with it but, if it doesn't, like I said, you only get one chance at this, do what makes you happy".
That's some profound stuff right there and words to live by.
He's from an old italian family, so it IS John Chena! Thank you Santino Marella.
Lmfao
Diplomatic, compassionate, brave. This was so great... What love he must have had for his brother and his lifestyle.
Yes 100%
I have the same outlook as John when he talks about his brother and Darren Young being openly gay. Love is love, whether straight or gay. The bottom line is is that they're people with emotions and feelings just like the rest of us, too, and should be treated no different than someone who's straight. I had an uncle (R.I.P. Uncle Jeff) who was openly gay and I know people who openly gay, also, and they're the coolest people I know. Good interview. #RespecttoCena
why is john cena just the best role model he has everything so humble and so so so jacked
Because of eddie guerrero 😭
And flexible like a chinese boy.
This guy can't stop leveling up skills.
@Dabble just check his training with Sheamus from 2 years ago. He lost some muscle and gained tones of flexibility by stretching everyday throughly.
Very impressed Mr.Cena,,,,,,,,,,,,you make me proud!!!!!!!!! Thank You
John is definitely a great man. I could listen to him all day. A good man with a beautiful heart and soul.
Man, there is so many comments on here that are difficult as fuck to comprehend
I read the title and thought Larry King was calling him out on the fact that John Cena thinks he's invisible
it's hilarious how Darren Young looks like John Cena
Black Cena
@@hotman718 not any more
I think its a good thing that it was brought up. Unless it's affecting the individuals work nothing like that should matter, and its unfortunate that a lot of people do worry about it, but people really do rethink things when its someone that they respect that encourages them to.
John : deep voice...
Larry : deeper.
Larry you have so many wrinkles, in your interview you look like your in HD and your guest it 480p.
Forreal, how is that even possible omg ???
I agree well are all human beings. Love is love no matter what sex , color, region, or background you are. We have the right to love
what if i love a child and the child loves me? will love still be love to you? you liberals actually need to think about what you say when you say it. you conveniently narrow the permeance of this thing called "love" because you haven't the balls to put your whimsical ideology to the test. Who would you be to stop love from being love "no matter what" age, for example? How about "no matter what" species? Love is love, right? Sorry to do this to you, Latrice. Your heart's obviously in the right place. But your brain is in a deep slumber.
Ps. For any pedantic smartarses who wanna point out that Latrice's comment is 6 years old. I know that already. Guess what? Due to the power of this thing called "Internet", we're able to interact with the past. Isn't that great?
Fin.
True.... I agree, Latrice.
@@johnfromtennessee2651 Nice strawman argument. Some "where do we draw the line?" BS. I personally draw the line at children and animals. The fact you consider those as even slightly relevant to other sexualities is entirely YOUR problem.
@@tomwebb27 You say you "personally" draw the line at children and animals? Ha! And what of it? There used to be people who drew the line at man and woman. Why? Perhaps because this is the only such relationship that can produce life into the world. It is affirmed by nature if you will. What do you and your cohorts refer to them as? All kinds of bigots and fabricated phobias: basically nonsense. When the basis for a relationship between two parties is no longer rooted in its affirmation by nature, but by something as subjective as the claim of "love", absolutely anything can, will and IS happening. So this "line" of yours is a pathetic attempt to tether yourself to some moral standard when the truth is liberalism has absolutely no ground to stand on if confronted by a minor claiming to "love" an older person. You simply cannot refuse. Your whimsical and poorly considered platitudes compel you to letting a child "love" whomever it wants, just as you think a man can "love" another man. Just as you liberals can't stop children of today from deciding to take pills to prevent puberty or from cutting off their genitalia to "affirm" their delusions. These are all forms of consent being given to children right before your very eyes but you're too drunken to see it.
You would become the very same bigot and phobic you probably lambast others as being! Not permitting a child to make this decision, you will be called an "ageist"! Seriously now, what would you even say to an adult and child who claimed to love each other? Check your answer for hypocrisy when you're done, or I will.
You must've not heard of Michael Foucault.
The bit about his parents is exactly why it's important to live by example rather just than accuse, hate and disown everyone who doesn't agree with you.
"You didn't choose to be heterosexual" Thank you Larry!
Actually people do choose their attractions so yes he did choose and he can choose to change his attraction along the way of life if he feels so

It’s crazy how this is 7 years old and things haven’t nearly changed as much as it should’ve.
Man right when I heard Cena say "I havr an older brother whos gay" i couldnt help it. I almost dropped dead laughing so bluuudclaat hard
The way the man said it had me
Why did they interview an empty chair the entire time? How odd.
they must be losing their minds
Thx to John's older brother, Cena is more progressive and not the usual redneck
John Cena is Amazing and I 100% agree you and only have one shot in life so u might as well live it the way you want too and be happy
Most of the world's problems could be overcome by accepting that other people are people.
John Cena is a really great human being.
This said it’s an interview with John Cena, but all I see is Larry King talking to an empty chair 😅
to much so personal questions but I live Respect John Cena though amazing man
John Cena is such an all round awesome dude. Mad respect.
Cena will go down as the greatest person ever
Respect for both of these GREAT gentlemen
Cena seems like a very serious person in life and very humble, hes professional on his job and takes life serious, he knows this life is hard, alot of people born on a silver spoon
man, this guy is a legend.
I feel like Larry is trying to get cena to come out of the closet
Larry King is the shit.
Will always hate his malibus most wanted gimmick, always, but as a man he's a great dude
That rap gimmick is what made him
makes me mad that larry was talking in an empty room this whole video
That's the first interview that I have seen, that he actually seems honest and sincere in his answer, usually it seems scripted
I wonder if John's gay brother is the same one who invented the "can't see me" hand gesture.
Lmao
I don't hang around gay people. John Cena does. He's right: it's his life. 'Nuff said.
You don't even know who's gay and who's not. What are you gonna do when a friend comes out? You're gonna run because you're scared of catching the gay?

Now what do u really think John 😂😂😂

Guys, it is ok to be gay. You can love anyone you want . Only you can make yourself happy. There will be people who disagree with that and that’s ok too but you don’t have to be mean about it. We are all human and have feelings. No one is making you do what their doing.
Exactly. I've got friends that are straight, gay, and bisexual. I don't care who they sleep with. As long as it's not a child we're all good.
*Rest In Peace, King.* 👑
well considering the media bashed being gay for one generation and then the next one it became brave might have confused some ppl
Here I am 6 years later in quarantine
Cena is one of many G.O.A.T’s... and as successful as he is I still feel he was underrated
I would take this conversation more seriously if I could see the person Larry’s interviewing.
I knew Cena was calm cool collected kinda caring and down to earth but wow!
I thought this was an interview, but all I see is Larry King talking by himself.
It’s crazy johns brother is gay when John said he’s from a super man’s man family from Boston which is cool that their family was able to accept that one of their sons/brothers is gay
im not 6 so im not a cena fan but he does good interviews
So you're not a hot woman either? That's what most of his fan base are. Lol
But you write like a six year old . You need to get over it .
Hey man how’s being 11 treating ya?
John Cena can run for politics with the way he is speaking
How is being gay a hero? I thought being gay was just something about you that comes up when your dating. Life goes on and you have sex with people that you want too. I don't understand what it has to do with anything else and I don't understand how it makes you a hero.
It was illegal and looked down upon by a LOT of people back in the day. So, it takes a lot of courage to come out
Isn't it insane that 2014 was 7 years ago
Wonderful way of saying it
God Bless you John
Wise words, I wish I knew who was saying them
I’m shocked.
John Cena’s Italian!!!! 😱
😄
Badaba boopie
Always had mad respect for John. He has always shown he's a stand up guy. But this puts him in the MAN hall of fame in my book. I have cousin who is gay and I have a few friends that are gay and I feel the same way he does. If you can't respect a man or woman for what they do behind closed doors within reason of course, then that is just plain ignorance. The gay community is just like every other community they just want to be accepted for who they are not just for being gay but as human beings.
Pat Patterson was openly gay for years now..., never effected the business in a negative light
Pat will always be legend. Whether in front of the camera as the 1st intercontinental Champion or behind the scenes selling the idea of The Royal Rumble.
He became open about it decades after his wrestling days, a little different
RIP KING👑
What a good man💘
How could you not like John Cena
the hardest working gay guy was fired 2 weeks after coming out
VERY GOOD GUY
Never knew Cena had a gay brother. Goes to show
If everyone could adopt this simple principle then we will have ended many of humanities issues. Then we can focus on true issues to our civilization
You can't see John Cena. But you can hear him.
CENA IS THE BEST
