If you are doing a one-off project your holesaw will no doubt be much cheaper and more efficient. If you are doing metal fab regularly, your holesaw will be both less accurate and more expensive [think $$ replacements after maybe 50-100 holes] in the long run as well as slower, noisier and more dangerous...also, on some projects you may not be able to even position a holesaw where needed.
Very nice. Question though. Do you guys make the threaded arbor? If not I highly suggest you do. I need a new one. The HF one that came with my set stretched and bent.
A long U.S. grade 8 nut & bolt with fine threads may act as a replacement. Add a ball-bearing to allow this mechanism to easily rotate under pressure. A teflon coating or sheet between some washers may be enough to allow that to rotate. Adapt and innovate.
The SWAG knock out punches are capable of cutting up to .1875" aluminum and or .125" mild steel, .083" chromoly, & .083" stainless. It will not work for thick metal plate.
Cool as long as none of these items say “swag” on them. Nice offerings across the board but not buying any that have, what has to be, the lamest name for a company laser cut into them.
Poor man's Ironworker
"If not... I don't know how you stumbled upon this channel" got a laugh out of me
How is this any faster than drilling with a hole saw if I still have to drill the 3/4 pilot hole!?

If you have a 1/2" twist drill, you could even use the 3/4" k.o. punch to make the hole
“Now that I’ve confused half my audience” lol
