Woodturning: Coiled Sycamore Bowl
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 сен 2024
- This bowl of sycamore will get a "coiled" decoration with a coil burning tip on a woodburning tool. I also use several texturing tools to add some detail to the bottom of the piece. The bowl is about 9 1/2" (24cm) wide when finished.

I thought the tree was coiled. That wood burning tip was a good idea.
Thank you, William.
Rick -- I love it!
Question: Did you and Mike Peace coordinate the timing of your videos this week? Very suspicious that both of you showed off your Sorby spiraling and Wagner texturing tools in your videos this week.
Mike’s video and my. Video timing was coincidental. At least in part. I saw Mike’s video earlier in the week, and it reminded me that I had some Wagner texture tools that I had never once used. So I tried one out and it worked great. Thanks for watching, David.
I enjoyed your video. I really really love your bowl... but...I'm missing the wood burning pictures with colors 😥. Lol I'll get over it. So, how far did you get on wood burning the edge before you said you should have done just parts of it hahaha. Great job as always Rick. Thanks for sharing your creativity with me again. Stay safe, Vickie (yep, I always talk a lot)
Thanks for your comments, Vickie. My next project is going to have Woodturning and coloring.
@@RickTurnsWoodturning yea yea great!
I thought you had to be "Blind" to use the texturing tool.
Thanks for watching, Chris.
Beautiful piece, thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching, Coswood.
