I like how she used the colours and furniture.. simple yet luxurious 👌I see a lot of expensive flats and villas with a lot of beige and unnecessary bright elements.. this is far luxurious, yet pleasing one.. Kudos 🍻
Finally a designer home that is not designer...but in a good sense...loved the minimalist clutter free vibe and the play between different materials and textures ....very earthy and organic!!!
Thank god - finally an architect who celebrates india and indian designs without jumping on to the western bandwagon !! Loved the simplicity and flow of colors which are sophisticated yet soothing !! Nicely done
Wow, this home is so beautiful! I seems impossible to blend a minimalistic design with the indian exuberance but this designer has achieved it and the result is gorgeous! My eyes were pleased too see a home different from american "traditional" and scandinavian. :)
A perfect blend of earthy tones and mid century modern. Right amount of furniture and and decor accessorries. However, I am not great fan of a floor lamp but it's just only me. Kudos to the designer for this beautiful warm house.
The minimalist approach is great and so is the fantastic use of tile as an art work. Personally though, even within the minimalist approach, I would love to add much more color- color doesn’t have to be clutter!
One of the most beautiful homes I have ever come across ,rooted with Indianness and purity ❤️ Couldn't take my eyes off the whole time❤️ Love from Dehradun ❤️
Beautifully done. One question - What have u used for flooring? Generally people use Italian but I saw u have used some stone or tiles and it looked quite neat
It's tile .. there are now modern rustic type tiles ( big or small sizes ) available from many prominent tiles brands .. Matt finish and glossy ,both are there .. Verified ,double glazed , cermatic e.. in all stone finishes ( prominently in grey , brown ,offshore white colours are widely chooses by clients )
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021.☺️👋🙏 however, PLEASE JUST THINK..... Every human is relieved that Corona year 2020 has passed. All of us would be HOPING that in new year 2021 we will be FREE from painful experience of Corona. But however, there are other living beings who are continuously suffering quietly and about whom we NEVER THINK and bother ie. ANIMALS.... Kindly LOOK into the EYES OF SUFFERING ANIMALS.... You will clearly see the sadness and pain in the eyes of these animals. These silent living beings are suffering so much but STILL we humans never care. They are put in enclosures so SMALL that they can't even MOVE.They are CHAINED and CAGED for LIFE. They die of desease, extreme cold, hunger and thirst. They are killed BRUTALLY for MEAT.They are used for MEDICAL experiments. They are ABANDONED on roads to die by pet owners. They are not given food and water. Every time they are treated cruelly by humans for no reason. Humans are angry with humans but they vent out their anger on innocent animals. Animals suffer so much due to humans. But they never complain. So then WHY are humans so cruel to them????!!!! ANIMALS would also be EXPECTING AND HOPING every MOMENT that one day humans will treat them KINDLY. They will someday get freedom from chains and cages. People will feed them and take care of them when they fall ill. But their expectation is broken every moment.... HUMANS NEVER UNDERSTAND their pain. If HUMANS WERE CHAINED and PUT in CAGES similarly for LIFE, BRUTALLY KILLED for meat, treated barbarically by other humans, abandoned, left to die of desease and hunger in extreme weather conditions, used for medical experiments, how would HUMANS FEEL? Why cant humans understand how animals would be feeling when THEIR EXPECTATIONS are broken every time? IF WE STILL CANNOT UNDERSTAND their pain and be kind to them then HOW we think ourselves worthy of being treated kindly? If humans cannot be kind to animals, who are so pure and innocent, who never hate and don't have any ego, who FORGIVE humans instantly, who readily give LOVE and RESPECT to humans, then how can humans expect same kindness from others? SO JUST THINK..... MAY BE THEN YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY GO THROUGH EVERY MOMENT WHICH HUMANS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO FACE EVEN FOR A MOMENT. SO PL MAKE A RESOLUTION THIS YEAR THAT YOU WILL HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART FOR THEM. PL HELP ATLEAST ONE ANIMAL THIS YEAR....KINDLY ALSO PL DO NOT HARM THEM IN ANYWAY.....If possible then please RAISE YOUR VOICE against animal cruelty in social media and in your locality....Also kindly request people to CHANGE their attitude towards innocent animals.....YOU WILL SURELY FEEL GREAT.....HAPPY NEW YEAR ONCE AGAIN. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY🙏
She speaks about Indianness over and over again and theres no Mandir or a prayer room which is so intricately Indian. You would find a prayer area or atleast a shelf in every Indian home as a mandir. Even homes without a toilet have a mandir. And in the hall, the three hanging " Indian" art pieces one of them is a mughal king. How authentically Indian 🤣😂🤣😂 the cane the wood and the furniture is classy. But the pretending to be Indian is not classy.
Are you saying atheists can't be Indian. I'm an Indian who doesn't believe in supernatural powers but nobody has right to tell me that I'm not an Indian. I don't want to come across as bragging but I spend a portion of my time and money to help my fellow Indians regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds. I can't be less Indian than anyone who has a prayer room/place but does nothing for the country other than going around telling people they are not Indian because they don't believe in the same thing s/he does.
Having a mandir does not make you Indian. 😂 Just like putting "Desi" in your name doesn't. Stop with your stupid fundamentalism and maybe learn to live.

Not quite a "humble abode" in the literal terms but indeed a gorgeous, personalized, and lived in space.
Prices in Delhi especially in Hauzkhass are akin to downtown Manhattan
I loved it when she said for me having sunlight and natural materials is as luxurious as having a leather sofa .... hats off to those thoughts 👏

Wow.. such a perfect blend of Indian and post modern mid-century designs... love it!
Muted Colors used brought a calmness to the environment of the house. No visual clutter, no unnecessary elements. Loved it.👍
I love the flooring and those two wooden chairs in the living room. I wish they'd shown more of the home- the wardrobe, the kitchen, bathrooms etc.
Love it ! I just can't get over with that big clear window .

I think this home gives a natural balance ,which I love in that house

Honor to watch, inspiration and simplicity. Keep going on. 👌🏻
Very nicely done. Love all the natural elements. I think a few handmade Indian rugs here and there would have added to the decor.

in what way is this minimal?
Because there is no wardrobe, kitchen, bathroom 😆
how beautiful it would be if you had explained it in Hindi......sad.....
Lovely 😍💋 💝💖❤️
Not really true !! People have limitations to what they can do with their abode . Additions tend to be expensive !!
For me luxury is name throwing 🤣🤣🤣. Don't get me wrong. Nothing wrong with the house. But JJ Valaya need not be in the equation
Good. I wait for love from you 💝💖
This is far from Indian.....

This is luxurious . Not humble or minimal. If u think this is minimal then u don't know WHAT MINIMAL MEANS.
LOL.LOL
So boring 😴
Not pleasing at all !
