Very easy to touch the back of napkin with tape and it will lightly grab a layer of the napkin, saving your design. I love the light the napkin to trim, looks like magic.
As someone who decorates their house with a vintage vampire witchy aesthetic, please continue doing creepy goth spooky diys!!! Just cause it’s not Halloween doesn’t mean you can’t diy ❤p.s. I love your energy and all of your diys!!! I’m going to binge all of them 😅
Yeah it’s that autumn season change I had a cup of throat coat tea this morning if you haven’t had it by traditional medicinals throat coat tea at yummy yummy
That owl frame is beautiful. I love light-up projects, too. For anyone who wants to make that, you can glue 2 Dollar Tree frames together, back-to back, and use their window clings. Just put it all inside of the frames before you glue the second one on.
There is a subculture: Gothic and pagans who like this all the time. Your crafts are good and enjoyable and respectful to those that this is a saved time of year
The silicone make-up "brush" avail at Walmart they look like a flat spatula that works well in manipulative hot glue, the glue won't stick to it, which saves your fingers. The handle will melt if left in contact with a glue gun though.
Loved the diys. Thank you for sharing the info on the stencil brush. I will be giving that a try when I just want to paint the puffed up pieces. The eak sign was my favorite 😍
I have a small art business and make all kinds of upcycled and new home decor. I love Halloween decor the most. I like how you make a lot of different kinds of items not just tier tray stuff like other people. 🎃
These are all sooooo Beautiful!!! You do a FANTASTIC JOB!!! I LOVE HOW BEAUTIFUL, MACABRE AND SPOOKY THESE ALL LOOK WHEN STAGED TOGETHER. Thank You for sharing Your talents with Us again. Bless You and Your’.
Ms Brandy, you my dear are EXTREMELY TALENTED! OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE EVERYTHING IN THIS VIDEO!! I love your idea of using mod podge on the Eek sign instead of painting it. Love your technique of aging it and the skeleton was the perfect touch! You certainly transformed one of those plain and boring LED candles into something spook-tacular! I can't believe that the raven napkin is from DT! It's amazing what they're capable of bringing us now with the extra quarter!! Shoot they should have done that long before now!! LOL! 🤣 The jewelry box is gorgeous with the paint job you did on it. I could go on and on about your incredible talent! Love you and your channel! See you on the next video! Take care.💀🍂👻🎃🕷️🦇😍🤩🥰
TIP: You can also change a lights color with permanent markers, just color the tip with any colored permanent marker, so if you don't have any paint on hand you can also try that
Brandy you nailed these diys and my favorite thing….. is that they’re not all over RUclips very uniquely your own that no one else has don’t these are so great I have to do every single one tyvm for the great ideas and inspiration God bless🥰
Can not believe that's mylar inside most of those drinking cups....aren't you just a curious little thing...lol...loved that owl! And that box is awesome....looks so old...as always you are the cats meow...🐈⬛...have a great week....❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻
The shimmer spray is a mica spray by Tattered Angels; it looks like they are still in business. I haven't seen their products in years -well besides in my craft space. They have dozens and dozens of different colors available or you can get a similar product from Ranger and Tim Holtz- either straight ink-based sprays in his Distress and Distress Oxide Spray Stains which come in all of his Distress colors or if you want shimmer, Distress Mica Stains are an ink and mica combination spray. The mica stains are available in 3 permanent colors - Brushed Pewter, Tarnished Brass (an old grungy gold), and Antique Copper and he's been putting out limited edition Halloween and Christmas sets. The permanent trio is really stunning. I'm sure the holiday colors are as well, i haven't tried them. Ranger also has 2 other lines that include beautiful sprays; Dylusions Shimmer Spray - shimmer and ink sprays and Dina Wakley Media Gloss Spray-glossy ink. All 3 lines, Distress/Distress Oxide, Dylusions and Dina Wakley Media, have such different color palettes, there is something for every need. There is also a line of sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang that are quit beautiful. She creates both shimmer and non-shimmer sprays as well as a bunch of other ink-based products that are quite unique. She has a regular line and also creates limited edition collections- it used to be monthly but i'm not sure how often she does now. Her color and mica combinations can be quite extraordinary, check out this opal effect www.lindysgang.com/collections/moon-shadow-mist/products/smoky-sapphire-vintage-spray. I love using sprays either by spraying them directly for either full coverage or the splattered-effect like you did or my favorite way to use Distress and Distress Oxide is to spray them on a craft mat and either drag the paper through the color or tamp it on the color to build layers or a combination of both. With Distress and Distress Oxide you can add water droplets for get a gorgeous granulated, layered look that is really interesting to look at and adds so much dimension. There might be other, newer brands out there, I haven't been buying craft supplies in the last few years (well, except for some of Tim Holtz's latest Distress/Oxide colors) because my stash is so insane.
What she said! I love Tattered Angels! I also wanted to mention, the bottle youbused appears clogged. It's supposed to mist the project versus droplet. But if you like the look, disregard. Project turned out super cool!
Awesome projects. Would never have thought of painting the led candles to change the colour of the light. Brilliant. Definitely going to buy some and try.
I just love this video!😍Sooo many great ideas! My favorite was the Eek sign. I loved watching you design and create it. Very original concept. Love how you think outside of the box 👍👍
I cannot believe you just tought me how to easily & inexpensively turn a white light to warm. Brilliant! Thank you so much. I absolutely 🖤 each of these adorable projects! 🎃
The EEK turned out pretty cool. Alcohol ink would work better to dye the tip of the candle; you get a smooth color. You can either use a marker or liquid alcohol inks.
I love light up diys. You sure know how to do Halloween! Love your channel. I binge watch your videos, so I can make past and present projects. Have a great day🤗👻🎃
Okay, wow! That candle turned out awesome! When you were first putting the hot glue on I was like, this doesn't look real at all......what is she doing? But wow, once you distressed it and it was finished, it ended up looking amazing!!!!!
Thanks! Yep, sometimes it looks crazy before all the steps are done. I used to doubt myself and stop st that point but I’ve learned to push through to get what you want.
Love your videos!!! I like vintage Halloween and you have shown us some great projects. They're so unique and different. My favorite was the light up owl frame. Thanks for all you do for us!!!
I loved everything so much! I do have a question I hope it's not a stupid question but I'm new to crafting and I love the lights in your crafts also but what lights are safe to use I mean do the lights get hot could they start a fire I'm sure they do not but are there certain lights I should use? Sorry if I sound silly for asking that. Thank you again for your videos I love them you are still the very best at teaching how to do crafts!!
The little twinkle lights are safe, they do not heat up. And as far as I know, the led type lights stay cool to the touch making them safer. You can always google the ones you purchase to be certain. I hope this helps! Thanks for being here and congrats on beginning your crafty journey!
Ooh how can I choose a favorite? I love anything with light! And I love anything with Ravens or Crows because it just puts me in an Edgar Allen Poe state of mind, and transports me to those Gothic Victorian parlors you see in movies. The owl is beautiful but I probably have to go with the Poe-esque pillar candle. I just have to make that!!
@@MakingItMyOwn yes, especially if you consider how much it would cost to buy something like this! Maybe $30+ And when you make it yourself...I can honestly see making one of these for every season or holiday! Santa or reindeer or snowmen for Christmas. How about a leprechaun for St Paddy's Day? How about a bunny for Easter? A gnome? I could even.....gasp....make one for all 4 Hogwarts Houses!! Ooh! I love this idea soooo much because I can apply it to things that I love!
