I am honestly beginning to think that day was our summer, we had just a gorgeous day for the walk, the castle was strange as you said, so many different styles and brick work, it just didn't make any sense at all. Until yesterday torquay has been hot and dry ever since we got back, àround 28 every day, me and dogs like dry but not so much really hot lol. I love Slains castle, that was my 3rd visit and you notice different things each time, my trip to old Slains was unsuccessful but apparently not much of it left .
Hope the re-modelling works out. Great pictures and video around the castle. Seems so long ago now.
