Yes, it´s a very sexy and warmly sound. I was glad that i found someday this Verdi recital- it´s difficult to come across with it but the effort was worth it truely. Only her Gilda on this recording is ... hmmm... a bit strange: Mrs. Vaness is a spinto and her voice to heavy for this part, just my opinion. But the other arias- every single one is a masterpiece. Thanks :o)
@@arnoldamaral3814 , Gilda is a spinto soprano role? For sure not. It´s a lyric coloratura. Carol Vaness sings it very well but pretty over-casted for it.
