Would you ever touch an LCP???

I own this airsoft gun, AND as an American, I also own the real steel Ruger LCP pistol that it's modeled on. The frame dimensions of the Tokyo Marui look to be exact, and with the mag in the weight is pretty close as well. The real one is just a smidgen heavier, but not by much. The markings look good to, the real one says "Before using Gun-Read warnings in instruction manual available free" on the side in exactly the same font. This is a very well made replica.
Of course what you don't get to experience from the airsoft is how much recoil the real one actually has. These little guns in 380ACP are pretty snappy in real life! They are fun to shoot though. I carry mine in a pocket for self defense; been carrying it for over 8 years now.

I also own a real Walther PPK pistol (the actual James Bond gun) which in comparison to the Ruger LCP is actually bigger and heavier. Not by much though, it can still fit in a pocket as well. They do not look the same at all though, lol.

      Which one do you prefer?

@@mysteryboxes thanks! I prefer the Ruger LCP, because it is smaller and lighter than the PPK while still holding 7 rounds of 380ACP (same cartridge and capacity as the PPK). It makes the gun easier to carry around in a pocket all day, while still being powerful enough to work for self defense. The PPK is a nicer gun overall, but the LCP is more practical as a deep concealment pistol, which is their main purpose.

Well, we just need to get you an actual Bond gun now. The Walther PPK/S was the first handgun I bought for my wife and she loves it. For your concealed carry milsim surprise you'll need to get a Thunderwear concealment holster. Yes its actually a thing and guaranteed no one is going to check "The Zone" to see if your packing anything artificial....

What is it good for? Training and practice with the real thing. I carry a real Ruger LCP almost every day, and with the airsoft clone, I can practice drawing from concealment and shooting in my basement.

I love that! Is the weight similar?

@mysteryboxes The real LCP is a little heavier, especially when it's loaded ( which it always is.)
The LCP is in a different class from the PPK. The LCP is a very small "mouse gun," most suitable for pocket carry when it's not practical to carry a "real gun." It is harder to shoot well than is the PPK. It is much harder to quickly put well-aimed shots on target at ranges much beyond 3 or four yards. There is a reason it's known as " the Little Crappy Pistol."
I only carry my LCP in a pocket (holstered) when it's just not practical to carry a "real gun" in a proper holster. If circumstances allow me to carry in a holster (Appendix Inside Waistband), I carry my Sig P365. The Sig is a MUCH more capable gun, much more powerful, and much easier to deliver rounds on target rapidly and at longer ranges.
