Fuel pump replacement

I’m putting a replacement glass bowl fuel pump in a ‘57 CJ 5. Can I reuse the bolts ? I will use #2 formagasket for the bolts. Do I need to apply anything to the gasket itself ? How should I position the lever against the cam ? Above it, against it or below it? Thank you for your help.

Yes, you can reuse the bolts. It should only fit one way. Lever above the cam.
