You have to turn it a little, but, the Crescent and the line through it is there! Next, IF that's Shabriri, I'm thinking he'll try to turn Miquella into the Lord of Chaos, maybe showing what The Tarnished did to his twin sister, Malenia! BUT, before he touches Miquella's Hand, "Shabriri" is shown what WILL happen IF he does! Maybe THAT'S why he's SO scared of Miquella! He is more afraid of Miquella, than Gideon was of Marika! Possibly Miquella's Power is SO beyond terrifying, it eclipses what the Lord of Chaos can do! IF Miquella REALLY wanted to all the way down to the Three Fingers again, he's done it many times, to try to help those poor Merchants! Getting past all those safeguards and barriers will be easy for him! That chick in red, that was fighting The Tarnished, it reminded me of Freida from DS3! OH S%#@! I JUST thought of this! Miquella has a alter-ego, Saint Trina, what if this new major baddie, is the alter-ego of Godwyn! The very elaborate Dragon Armor, the BAT-S%#@ levels of power, (including a lightning arena nuke, of course), and IF that is really Destined Death, that would make sense, because of Godwyn being BFF's with Fortissax, and Fortissax trying to rid Godwyn of his Deathblight! Miquella couldn't give him a True Death, or, bring him back, so, he may have done this instead! At least SOME part of his half-brother being alive in the world! When The Tarnished fells the new baddie (forgot his name, lol!), THEN, I think, the S%#@ will hit the fan! They said that there is a new boss, HARDER than Malenia, I still think it's Miquella, his FULL, true self! I still think Miquella was at least somewhat corrupted by Mohg/Formless Mother. There's no way otherwise! When THAT theorized Final Boss fight starts, Miquella could have Blood and Deathblight powers, PLUS, he could whip out Phantoms/Summons of PAST Bosses, like Mohg, Morgott, maybe even RADAGON! THEN, Phase Switch! Miquella going back and forth between himself and St. Trina! , blasting us with EVERYTHING, and then some! LASTLY, Third Phase! We'll have to contend with the previous New Baddie's powers, and the previous ones, COMBINED! For his Final Summon, whips out MALENIA! Let's be real here, he will be PISSED about that! IF that was really Shabriri, what we will witness, if even some of this comes to pass, will be NOTHING compared to what "Shabriri" saw! MAN! CAN NOT WAIT till June! FINALLY!

I did get an inkling in my head that they looked familiar! Adding onto this, if they are that, it reinforces my point of that area being the golden capital!
Saw someone point this observation out. When you travel the lands between, you can collect three types of butterfly; One rot, one sleep, one fire. One represents Melania, one Miquella, the third, smoldering butterfly probably was always intended to represent Messmer, some banished third sibling who clearly uses fire as a main motif.
This is an absolutely great point! I always assumed the burnt moth was meant to represent Melina…. But it Messmer was meant to be from the beginning… thank you for letting me know about this my mind is blown! Would you mind if I mention this point in my video im doing on Messmer tomorrow? I feel like now I know this I just can’t not mention it you know? But as it is you’re discovery I completely understand if you’re not okay with that!

I think the reason Shabriri may be terrified is because unalloyed gold and Miquella’s philosophy is the only thing to truly extinguish the Flame of Frenzy

Miyazaki has already confirmed that the DLC isn’t time travel and that it takes place at the same time as the base game. It’s just a shadow world

Hey Gecko! Some things I’ve noticed that I haven’t seen being commented elsewhere: the crucible lion thing is actually a Chinese lion. You can see hands controlling its jaw and there’s actually more legs below the robes. Maybe multiple creatures below that will split on second phase? Also, something I’ve noticed about the position of the erdtree: looking at it from Altus plateau, the tree leans towards the right, but by the trailer it leads more towards the left. I think we’re actually looking at the missing part of the lands between, right in the middle of it, where the towers converge. Not to make myself too long, Messmer is missing his left eye. I like what you said about destined death. Maybe there’s something to do with Melina. Miyazaki said something about his throne, drawing a parallel with the thrones at the foot of the erdtree, where the demigods sit. So many things to catch up on this trailer. The “spear” with gravity engravings, just like radahn’s swords, the many different weapons and everything. Hints on the worm faces? Dude, im so hyped!

I also believe that the realm is actually a sort of “upside down” version of some part of the in game map, and the veil we see was placed by Marika and it conceals the Realm of Shadows from the outside world. I also like a theory that the red destined death like spear we see shoved into Marika’s body is an influence of Messmer. This would also explain why part of Marika/Radagon are dark and abyssal, sort of like a shadow.

Shabriri isn’t the one speaking, it’s a new character that we see in the trailer named Messmer the Impaler, who is probably the 3rd child of Marika and Radagons marriage. This also disproves Melina being the 3rd child of Marika.
I don't think Miquella is evil, if an entity like Shabriri finds something terrifying then that terrifying being would be a force of righteouss good.
10:54, it's a mix of Wraith Caller and Albinauric from first glance, but I otherwise would call that a Nuckelavee

I could be wrong, but the Omen-Beast boss looks like the beast part of it could be a mask. If you look closely, the beast closes it's mouth using its hand while a separate line of teeth, straight not staggered, are not connected. Maybe it's an aspect of the crucible, but I'm guessing that the Omen uses the mask to cover his face, differently than Morgott who just simply changed his name.

I’m not so sure the “new character” is actually new. He has red hair, moves in a snake-like fashion, and wields fire. That’s Praetor Rykard, pre-Eiglay, wielding Destined Death that he stole from Maliketh. This story seems to be set during the era of the Night of Black Knives.

Nope, He's Messmer the Impaler
There was an interview with Miyazaki stating that the time setting of the dlc is the current time of the main game. So that rules out the Black Knives era theory.
God all my things are getting disproved by this interview! Wish I had watched it before making the video! Did not know it existed lol

Miyazaki already confirmed in an interview that the DLC is accessible from Miquella's cocoon.
Also "Shadow Realm" could suggest it's the land of the dead...suggesting we might meet a lot of the dead characters there.

My theory for Messmer is that he is the first born child of Radagon and Marika. During Messmers upbringing, he really took a liking to Rykard and aspired to become like him. Once Rykard turned against the Golden Order and chose the path of blasphemy by devouring the god serpent, Messmer soon followed suit. Because of his treason to the Golden Order and being related to Radagon and Marika, they decided to imprison him in a shadowed version of The Lands Between, as well as remove Messmer from all history so he would be forgotten and his actions wouldn’t taint the family’s image. I believe Messmer’s goal is to escape this shadowed version of The Lands Between and become Elden Lord to impose a new order on the real Lands Between, the order of blasphemy in the name of Rykard.
I beat Bloodborne and adore the lore. I only have ever completed Elden Ring but I've dipped my toes in the lore of dark souls. With that said my gut tells me that Miquella is going to be evil because there's not many, if any, major characters that are not but then that's all the more reason for them to break tradition with Miquella. So I doubt it but anything is possible

@Nuchraptor It's like the dlcs from ds3, the characters came a bit out of nowhere, but they probably have connection with main characters, like I would be surprise if Messmer wasn't the first child of Marika and Radagon.
And no its not death flame the death flame is dark and red
