Is it possible to connect to the payment terminal using an app developed in Linux. I’ve seen in your documentation that you‘re only providing API for Android & IOS but I have an App that is made in my computer( on Linux and want to connect it to BBPOS WisePad 3)
Hi Abdel-thanks for reaching out. Currently, here are the 5 platforms that you can use for your integration: stripe.com/docs/terminal/payments/setup-reader#sdk.
HI, I have a Wise POS and we have gone through the setup steps, but we are getting a connection error when we try to process a transaction. Not flowing into the reader. Any suggestions?
Hey Randall! Can you send us a video of the steps you're taking or a picture of the error over email? We can dig into it more specifically. Here's a quick link: support.stripe.com/questions/contact-stripe-support
Locations is not an option for me, so it stops there. I have two physical terminals I bought through account and no way to get them activated and useable.
It’s impossible!!! I’ve created a location and added the reader. That’s it. Can’t work out the next step. Called stripe and all they said is that I need a developer. Can you help ?
Hi there-Stripe Reader M2 card readers are registered automatically when connected with Bluetooth to the iOS or Android SDK. There is no need to manually register or manage the registration of these card readers.
hi, we have issue with terminal, it doesn't accept contactless card payments, only manual where we have always insert card details manually, any help with this?
Hi there-are you getting any specific error messages at all? Is this an integration that you have built yourself, or was it done by a partner? We suggest posting your question here for a more specific answer: stripe.com/go/developer-chat.
@@StripeDev no error at all, 3 devices on same locations are "down", on other locations everything is just fine. Could this be related to some network issue or?
Thanks for getting back to us-can you tell us more about how the devices are "down"? Is there an alert or status that is showing this? By location, do you mean the network they're connected to, or the physical location in which they're being used?
Hi David, depending on your reader, you should refer to the documentation about generating an activation code. If you have any trouble with this, please reach out to us at support.stripe.com. Thanks.
