"In the beginning, there was sheet metal", which is the true line for these big ships, it is both a tough job but rewarding cause it is a unique job to work on such huge vessels.
Music is a little over the top. Makes me want to go build a 100 ships with my bare hands in the middle of a battle for humanity itself. But otherwise, video is great!
It is interesting to note that this ship class has a bow that no longer has a bulbous bow under the water to form counter waves to cancel out the bow wave of the ship? The bow of this ship has a look closer to a pre-WWII passenger liner than a modern container ship. Yet, nothing was mentioned about the change in bow design? I would have thought that such a change would warrant at least a few minutes of video time? Mark from Melbourne Australia
Great! Fresh NEW information... About a 4 year old ship, delivered in October 2020. In fact, 80-100 larger ships now exist? Wikipedia list, didn't bother counting exactly. Inaccurate titles are very annoying.
I find it strange that for such a large pressure tank of LNG, there were no internal baffles fitted to prevent the LNG from sloshing around?? Why are there no internal baffles when many smaller tanks are fitted with them? Does anyone have an answer? Mark from Melbourne Australia
I've only watched about 8 minutes so far and I find it strange that although this shipyard is in China all the workers who made statements were speaking French.
whoever made this music has ADHDHDHDHD. Like bro. Just show me them building the fcking ship. I don't need explosions, and 10 million drone shots, and darth vader imperial march music. Just cut the crap and shhow them making the ship
China is a giant in the shipbuilding world. They control 80% of the total global orders for all kinds of commercial ships and tankers. They dominate because the shipping world knows they are the best in the business.
Do you honestly think ANY Big Business that wants profits gives a shit about the Environment (9:50) if it costs them profit??????????????? They will ALWAYS find ways to charge more to make up for it, even if they think they will look good to people!!!! I have collected tons of Data about this for my new non-profit that will soon open and be model of helping the people and Environmental Recovery Project.
Located in asia because of their significant specialty? You mean cheap labour, it's as you say yourself western own ship, designed ny western architects and engineers

When western reporters says "chinä is a threat" well..democracy nations needs the china handmancraft
Totally interesting ....
Background music and sound effects are too loud. I cannot hear the narrator.
Propeller is so tiny compared to the ship. Looks like a Boeing 747 with a Cessna 152 propeller on it.
The equivalent of 1 billion cell phones 😂

The extreme efficiency of chinese manufacturing is mind-blowing.
Bruh !! The weight of the paint alone is 1% of the weight of the ship ?? That's 200 tonnes of paint 😵💫

Why would they use a piston engine when turbines are more efficient ?
Would love to see that irl!

The "music" and overly dramatic "presenter" make this unwatchable.
