    Enjoyed this video. Being a first generation fan, I can relate to Patti’s stories. I also saw the boys in Philadelphia in 1966. I was 13 then. We always had our transistor radios in our pockets!

      It is very difficult to explain that time. You would have had to be living in America as a teen then to understand it exactly, you would have to know the school systems in terms of socialization( dances, parties etc). It was very emotional as it was firsthand and they just grabbed our hearts. Everybody wanted to be British. It was a time of innocence and excitement. It was pure fun. It is very hard to capture it in words really. It is a deep feeling that we first generation fans have now because we grew up with them during the important years of our young life. It was our whole life.
