Whenever I go through a rough patch, this is my song. Knowing that the battle is the Lord’s and the victory mine. Nothing and no one can stand before the Lord. Today is the 1-year anniversary of my friend's little girl not having to go on overnight visits to her abuser's home. This was the song she used to sing with her Mommy before going on the mandated visits, but now, thanks to the Lord answering the thousands of prayers of a prayer army over a 2 year period, the visits are no longer required!

I define my victory as eternal life.......I can not lose......my destiny is assured and there are streets of gold where I am going......every tear will be wiped away there and living among the ungodly unrighteous will only be a distant memory........I will no longer have to contend with the one who kills, steals and destroys........it will be like the golden days of my youth where I did not have a care in the world and every day was a blue sky with the assurance my parents loved me unconditionally......and I hiked the golden hills in our country side with my friends........and though my youth was a time I always look back at with fondness, what is coming is so much more.......the One who gave me my loving parents, the One who created those golden hills around our home.......the One who made that blue sky........the One who put me together in my mother's womb.......the One who sent His Son to die for me and the One who promised me He is my Eternal Father.......He will be there........we will worship and His presence will overwhelm us with His majesty, truth power and love........we will never ever tire of His love and presence for He is as eternal as our current universe is without end.. Those who reject the One who overcame death........Who was and is victorious over death........they do not have this same future to look forward to unless they repent of their sin and submit themselves to the One who is Lord of All - Jesus Christ!
