It's funny how so much of the corporate mainstream media, certain politicians and so-called celebrities keep on telling us how much of a racist country Australia is today and yet so many places around this beautiful land have been given Aboriginal names just like this town.
That was done for more logical reasons by early explorers. Aboriginal names could be easily identified when speaking with the tribal people so keeping those names aided exploration.

I sure hope NC turns blue, that would be a joy. I do think Kamala will win, but Trump can definitely win. It will be a close race. Issues like immigration, Israel and the border are being far more hammered by Trump supporters now than in 2020. It will be a close race but Kamala should be able to edge it out.
