Nice battery, Sucks about the BT range. I'll have a look at the company. Thanks, Brad

Looks like a pretty good value @ $699 for 230AH. The limited bluetooth wouldn't bother me much. If I was really worried about it, I'd just slap a decent shunt on the out-going negative lead, which would give me a much better SOC indication, anyway. I have gotten to where I care less and less about individual cell voltages, once a battery is built and working. This would be a good choice for replacing the lead-acid house battery in an RV or trailer. Could also be a good camping battery.

These remind me of SOK batteries, probably the same mfg.

Seems like a decent battery. I have a pair of smart Chins from a few years ago that use the same EE-BMS app with same Detail password. I've not been able to find the Settings password. I wonder if the passwords are hardcoded in the app and if it is worth trying to take the app apart to find them.

It's an Ardroit 50A, but I don't recommend it, runs too hot at 50A.

Ok but thank for reply just looking for something a little bigger to speed up recharging when testing some of my LiFe battery packs

@@clockdoc36 The Ardriot 30A is probably a decent unit. I have not used one myself, but I have not seen complaints about the heat. Thanks!

If I had an rv and wanted that use of bluetooth. I would drill a hole in the side of it or on top. Probably void the warranty but you would get a better connection. Lol

Yeah I was thinking you could route the BT dongle out the side or top of the case. Could install a 4 pin aviation connector for the BT dongle

The bluetooth range is bad because it's in a metal box which is blocking its range. One of the reasons why other manufacturers of the BMS have external bluetooth dongles.

For metal case, it is ok, better than SS case.
