    I love how you can access Cinque Terre by the local trains!! Staying here for a night or two is way better than rushing during a day trip!! The hardest part of traveling to Italy is deciding where to go!!! It is all so beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing this video!!!

    I’m obsessed with the colors of the buildings! That’s honestly one of my favorite things about moving to Florida too is that houses are actually colors here… 😂

      Hi! We used omio.com. We did Florence Santa Maria Novella - La Spezia Centrale. Omio is the same price and was a bit easier to use with a US credit card!

    Hi, this is very beautiful video! I am curious what did you like more, Cinque Terre or Amalfi coast? And what is more crowded?)

    • @AshleyandChristian
      @AshleyandChristian  Год назад

      Thank you! That’s a super tough question haha. I think they both have different things to offer. If you want to swim on the beach, Cinque Terre, if you want activities I’d go with the Amalfi coast! They’re both extremely crowded but it’s easier to find quiet spots in Cinque terre.

    • @evgeny_web

      @@AshleyandChristian Thank you! For me it is not about swimming and beach, it is more about enjoying the nature and beautiful villages. I plan to go to Amalfi coast in September, hope it will be a little bit less crowded :)

    ahh this is so helpful! so you just took trains between each town? how long did you have to wait for them to arrive / was that annoying at all?

    • @AshleyandChristian
      @AshleyandChristian  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yes we just took the trains! And we used the train schedule and it was pretty accurate. So we’d time leaving the town with enough time to make it to the station (usually like 5-10 mins)
      There was only one delay and it was only like 5 minutes or so!

    Hello, I have a few questions.. So, 1. Which city is best to stay in if I have a family with 1 kid and am worried about carrying luggage after getting off the train? It sounds like Monteressso is the one, but can you confirm? 2. To take some of those pictures from the cliffside where the colored houses are in background, do I need the hiking pass? 3. Which city would still be the most stroller friendly ? I'm thinking I may not be able to cover all the cities and this may determine where I go 4. Do you have any information the ferries? would that be a better way to experience cinque de terre if i dont think i can carry my kid everywhere 5. Lastly, I am still conflicted between Amalfi and Cinque de terre.. If you have been to amalfi, which one would you recommend between the two? My main constraint is mobility. I want to make sure that I can cover as much ground given i'm travelling with a family

      Amalfi coast is enchanting, taking a boat trip is the way to go, there are two trips available they drop you off in Capri, Positano, pick you up in fours hours take you swimming they offer sandwiches plenty of water all included in the price. The view is magical.

      @@AshleyandChristian August? Oh lordy! I felt that heat as y'all were walking along and started worrying. I feel like I personally would be okay BUT I'm traveling with some "indoor folk." So, I found out last night that the other couple we're traveling with want to go on a boat between the villages. I dunno. I was looking forward to the hike and will probably do that regardless. Supposing my husband decides to ride the boat with them, do you think this walk is busy enough/visible enough so as to be safe for me to walk alone? Would you walk or boat if/when you go back?

    • @AshleyandChristian
      @AshleyandChristian  6 месяцев назад +1

      @pipdippitydoooo1158 I think the walk would be very doable during early/late spring! I would love to do that entire hike, but it was borderline dangerous when we were there due to heat 😂

      About 10 mins to Riomaggiore! We just went to the furthest away town first. I’m going to look back at some pics and stuff and try and see where we went for dinner. We usually say where we’re at but must’ve been too hungry to think about that haha
