Wade honestly deserves more respect, there was a point in time he was in conversations as the best player of leauge with only maybe Kobe and lebron over him, and both referred to him, with Kobe calling him to learn how to split defenses and lebron joining him. That performance from Wade in 2006 is easily one of the top 10 greatest finals performances as a 1 man army vs prime dirk and his 67 win mavs team who just beat the defending champ spurs in their prime and mvp Nash. Wade suffered injuries and had rosters worse then lebrons Cavs for years until bron came, and Wade taught him how to win and sacrificed his career and became a sidekick to win , unfortunately causing him to be underrated

Pippen and Wade are totally different cases. The only time Pippen was ever the best player on any team was the year Jordan left to play baseball (1994-95). Wade was the best player on the Heat for many years before Lebron arrived, and carried several hall-of-famers to a championship. Can't compare those two. Lebron and Wade were Batman and Superman... Jordan and Pippen were Batman and Robin. Pippen might not like it... but that's just the reality. Wade was much more humble in accepting a role without all the limelight, despite the fact that Wade was an actual "alpha" in the NBA, and much closer to Lebron's level than Pippen was to Jordan's level.

So you're saying Wade was better than Pippin? Y'all stay disrespecting Pippin while over rating Jordan. Jordan never won without Pippin and Pippen took the Bulls further than Jordan did. Not to mention Wade won with the most dominant Center just like Kobe did. Stop ✋️.

@@younglove3362 Wade carried a team to a title and was the best player on his team for many years, and is regarded as the 3rd best SG of all-time, behind Jordan and Kobe! YES, of course he was better than Wade. Pippen road Jordan's coattails, and EVERYBODY (without any exception) who watched the Bulls dynasty in real-time, knew that. Pippen was just at the right place at the right time. He's a great player, but he was NOTHING without Jordan... absolutely NOTHING!
He joined Hakeem and Barkley while all 3 were still in their peak years, and couldn't get out of the first round, because they were counting on him to be the prime scoring option.
Gimme a f*cking break with this RET@RDED narrative that Pippen was even close to Jordan's level! He wasn't, and it's not remotely debatable!

      1) Wade didn't start winning until Shaq got there. And Shaq was robbed of MVP in 05.
      2) Wade didn't start winning again until Bron and Bosh got there and he basically was a Pippen.

@@younglove3362 (1) You can't be serious trying to give Shaq credit for the Heat's first championship. He averaged 18 points and less than 10 rebounds during the playoffs, and was a shell of himself.
      (2) Wade beat the Mavs in the Finals as the best player on the team, averaging 35 pts, 8 reb, 4 ast and 3 steals... beating PRIME Nowitzki Lebron couldn't beat an OLDER Nowitzki with Wade and Bosh to help him out!
      (3) Barkley and Hakeem both severely outut-played Pippen that season! The Blazers team was loaded, and he was about the 3rd or 4th best player on the team. They carried him!
Wade's career numbers on the Heat: 22.7 Pts, 4.7 reb, 5.6 ast, 1.6 stl, 0.9 blk, 48.3% FG
Pippen's career numbers on the Bulls: 17.7 Pts, 6.7 reb. 5.3, ast, 2.1 stl, 0.9 blk, 48.0% FG

There’s at least a couple of reasons why Wade and Pippen are received differently:
-Wade co-led a team to a championship and won Finals MVP in ‘06 (four years before his first game with Bron)
-He was a significantly more talented basketball player than Pippen
It’s really that simple. People don’t attach all of Wade’s championship success to Bron because they CAN’T. And even so, I don’t know how you concluded that Wade gets “immeasurable” credit for teaching Bron how to win, or anything that he and Bron did as teammates. Bron himself has denied ever playing on a superteam, which comes across to me like an attempt to downplay the talent at the top of those Miami teams in particular. And Wade also catches flak for his injury issues in ‘13 and ‘14 (but especially ‘14).

    • @younglove3362

Stop ✋️. Wade won with Shaq and LeBron. Pippin only had Jordan and when he carried the Bulls, he had no other superstar. Saying they can't slander Wade? Yeah, take Shaq out and Wade has 2 rings instead of three. And he has no finals MVP. It's been proven.

@@younglove3362 And please don’t put words in my mouth. Try rereading what I wrote. Where did I say that “they” can’t slander Wade? I said that Wade and Pippen are RECEIVED DIFFERENTLY, NOT that either of them can’t/shouldn’t be criticized. Wade is CLEARLY a better all around basketball player than Pippen ever was. And while Shaq was still VERY good and a VERY important piece to that ‘06 Heat team, he was also clearly NOT the best version of himself-let alone anything close to peak MJ. Wade averaged 28, 5, and 5 throughout the ‘06 PLAYOFFS, NOT just the Finals.
And remember that Pippen “carried” the Bulls to a second round exit vs a Knicks team that Chicago had never lost a postseason series to with Jordan in the lineup. Yes, Pippen had an awesome individual campaign that year, but then he led them to a 23-25 record at the all star break of the following season, and a 34-31 record overall before Jordan’s return. And if you haven’t noticed: everything I wrote here has ACTUALLY been proven by reality and the passage of time, NOT some made-up hypothetical

    • @brandoncrockett9266

@@younglove3362 Unless you have access to an alternate reality in which you saw Wade play without Shaq (and WITH the player the Heat would have acquired to put in Shaq’s place) in ‘06 and NOT do any of the above, then you haven’t PROVEN anything. Respectfully, you don’t seem to understand the concepts of “proof” and “proving” something. All you’re doing now is stating your BELIEF based on YOUR feelings.
I can easily use your logic with Bron: How many titles has he won without Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, and AD? How many Finals MVP’s? “Fact” proven. See how ridiculous that sounds?
And please don’t say “He made the Finals in ‘07 and ‘18 on bad Cavs teams without those guys”. For one thing, Love was technically there in ‘18-although he was clearly past his athletic prime. But second of all (and most importantly), Bron had the benefit of facing a Pistons team with no Ben Wallace in ‘07, and a Celtics team whose leading scorer was a rookie in ‘18 (while that Celtics team overall was notably worse than the one that just won it all). Stop it

The reason why it's hard to compare Michael and Scottie to these other duos is because the other duos are close in stature. Michael Jordan IS A MUCH BETTER PLAYER than Scottie Pippen so he was going to be Robin by default. Scottie was a great player but clearly not on Jordan's level and he should've understood that. Scottie is a weak and emotional man and he needs to get over it, as he is almost 60. This isn't the fans fault, it's SCOTTIE'S fault.

People don’t understand that Jordan just so happen to make it work at the right time. You can’t be a leader being massively disrespectful. And guys like Jordan are one offs and not regular. Brady, Messi, Ronaldo, LeBron, Manning, Curry, Rice have all been beloved by their teammates, don’t know why people would rather go for the tyrant.
