yeah a childhood friend of mine who is no longer with us had one of these. He bought it with a loan at the same time he had a Roland D50 and Casio RZ1. Quite an outlay ! It was a heck of a setup for 1987/88 and I was jealous as hell as I only had a Juno 60 and Korg DDM drums. Loved his AX73... but the lack of knobs hurt it in this era... was surprised how underrated this is...
This upload is a great example of how the beauty in any instrument is in the imagination of the person playing it. You have definitely got some imagination, Espen.
@@chloedevereaux1801do you see the emoji at the end of my comment? If not, let me explain: this comment isn't that serious. I know about Mike and also Espen.
Reminds me of Ad Vissers 1987 album Hi-Tec Heroes. And that is not a coincidence, because on the back cover of that album we see a picture of Ad, surrounded by several Akai synths and samplers. In one of the television performances we see more than one AX73: ruclips.net/video/F57bKrnfquU/видео.html

It’s a lovely underrated synth.

“ if it ain’t THROUGH HOLE CIRCUITRY INSIDE it ain’t much synth“, #WhoKnowsKnows #Moog #Arturia #Sequential #Roland #Novation
Que agradable se escucha, en el minuto 1:35 tocas un sonido que me cuesta mucho igualar con mis synthe's y no sé su nombre 😫 pero se oye increible.👍
I have VX90 in my set.
Forgot to unscrew the rear screws before opening it up ? We've all done it. 🙂
