      @Amoreline11 Awesome. I'm glad you found it helpful! I have been using both and find it helpful with candles with performance issues.

      Awesome, glad it helped out! Both work but there is a difference in scent throw depending on which one is used.

    thank you for the review, I was checking on that because I can not fix the tunnelling on 1 of my favorite candle, and do not want to throw it away. however, the top candle warmer is so much more expensive, about like 2 times or more than the bottom warmer ( I was lookinf for the coffee warmer)

      Yes the top warmers are more pricey compared to the bottom ones. I used to absorb some of the wax with a cotton ball before and that didn't always work for tunneling.

    Thank you for the review! Quick question though, why do you need to throw out the melted portion? And does the top down candle warmer make the candle lose its scent after a while?

    • @MeetMsMarie
      @MeetMsMarie  2 года назад +7

      Thanks for watching! & with any warmer the candle will eventually lose its scent. For the top candle warmers, the wax at the top will lose its scent after being warmed a couple of times because the fragrance oils are being heated so you pour some wax out to smell the unheated portion more. For bottom plate warmers, you are heating the entire candle so you don't need to pour out any wax but it takes longer to smell.

      @@MeetMsMarie oh, I never thought about that. How long do you usually leave the top warmer on?

    • @MeetMsMarie
      @MeetMsMarie  2 года назад +5

      @@technik8503 I leave it on for maybe 2 or 3 hrs each time. I typically throw out the wax if i warm it everyday after about 2 weeks.

    This is helpful! Top lamp would be better than? Where did you buy yours?

    • @MeetMsMarie

      Thank you! I like top warmers a bit more since it takes less time to give off scent but they cost a bit more. I bought mine on Amazon ( it's the Hestia brand) because there was a discount so I chose that one but there are several brand/styles there!

    Do you think the test should have been with a brand new candle?..perhaps the scent is somewhat used up?

    • @MeetMsMarie
      @MeetMsMarie  7 месяцев назад

      I think you could test it with an unburnt one and the smell will be slightly better since mine started to soot at this point. It would take a very long time for a brand new candle to give off scent from warming with a bottom plate warmer though.
